Pretty good pizza but slightly on the pricey side.
I got the lunch special that was 2 slices and a drink for roughly $8.50
The bottom of the pizza was nice and crispy. The sauce and cheese weren't spectacular, but were decent nonetheless. Crust was also not too hard but not too soft.
They had Cheerwine at the soda fountain! Bonus points for that.
I might go again in the future.
Ordered a medium vegetarian with extra cheese. Place was quiet at 830p. Staff friendly and helpful. Offered a drink while I was waiting for the pizza, nice touch! Pizza was good. Happily recommend!
Delicious! We got a medium lasagna pizza, cheesy bread, ravioli, and the owner threw in some garlic knots and cheerwine. The second I took a bite of the pizza I knew this was going to be a place we frequent often. Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.
By far, the best pizza in Chapel Hill. Staff is friendly. The restaurant was clean. Plenty of handicap accessible parking. I am definitely going again.
I have lived in CH for almost 4 years and we'd never tried Pop's, so last night we changed that.
My partner got a stromboli with pepperoni and extra cheese, and I got the mediterranean chicken wrap with fries.
Portions were frankly *amazing* for the price, but that was easily one of the best wraps I've ever had. The stromboli was incredible, and probably 3 times bigger than we expected it to be. Truly a sight to behold! (it also reheats in the oven very well!)
10/10 will eat here again. This might be a new weekly thing for us if my waist can support it...
I ordered the meat lover's pizza. It was delightful. The atmosphere is a little weird, but it could be because I was there later in the evening. It was very quiet and the cases next to the place you order were really empty. I was afraid that they were closing soon for the night, but there were still a couple of hours until closing. The people were really nice and helpful and the pizza was very good. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
