Waffle House

This place was kind of dirty; you had to shoo away the flies, the table & floors weren't at all clean. The silverware was placed on a napkin by hand courtesy of the host attending to us. As opposed to having had been pre-wrapped in a napkin like u would usually expect. Washed my hands before & after the meal and the men's restroom wasn't very clean either but then again that's typical of a men's restroom so I don't hold that against them. The host was nice and helpful tho and rung me us after our meal. It was ok.

First let me say that I trust Waffle House to provide good food, cooked right, and fast. Staff are almost always polite and friendly. All of these expectations were fulfilled with our visit to this location. But cleanliness was severely lacking. Disappointed, but this one incident will not keep me from other Waffle House locations, just this one.

Love waffle house but the service at this location is terrible. They were fully staff with just a hand full of people inside. I walked in and sat down. No one acknowledged me or said anything. Five minutes later another customer walked in and was greeted and order taken immediately. At thus point I just walked out. Second time this has happened to me at this location.

Stopped in for quick bite. Service was quick, order was not correct, waitress never came back to my table after dropping off food. Place is filthy, staff too busy playing on their phones instead of taking care of customers. I left a tip, but she would have recieved a lot more if effort was put into her job....Not sure what they pay their staff,, but maybe pay more and hire management that promotes your staff and business. I visit Chalmette often,but will not visit this business again.

I was swatting at tiny, nat like flies the entire time. The whole experience was gross. This is obviously an ongoing problem from a dirty environment and stagnation in sinks, garbage cans, equipment, and perhaps rotten food. But the waitress tried to convince me that it will be taken care of by the end of the shift. Really! Are the flies going to punch out at the end of the shift and just leave on their own? I have no plans of ever going back again... ever.
