It was quiet and peaceful environment. Food was simple, tasty, not too spicy. Had gone for buffet but couldnt eat all items due to heavy, creamy taste and made us full in few spoonfuls. Staff were friendly and came to ask us few times in the middle of our meal. Overall, good pleasant experience!

Most the food was wonderful. However, the okra was a bit too ripe (barky).

This place deserves much higher ratings! The gentleman who served us was kind and helpful in making our selections and saved me from ordering too spicy. The Samosa Chat appetizer had a good presentation, the spices and slighty sweet savory flavor was delicious. The chick peas were cooked just right, not too hard or soft. The rice that came with our entrees was so good alone I didnt want to mix it with my curry. It had whole cloves and other whole spices/seasoning, a buttery flavor, and light and fluffy texture. We had the Aloo Paratha, you could actually taste the whole wheat bread flavor with a hint of toastiness. We also ordered Punjabi Kadi (veggie fritters in yogurt curry), Chicken Korma, Mango Lassi and Chai. It was all good.

This has been our date night spot for over a year. Amazing food, with an authentic feel and taste. I'm always sad to see how empty it is, because the food is truly amazing. Their spiciness rating may be more spicy than some people expect, so bear that in mind while ordering. Sad to see that's the reason many people are giving poorer ratings.

This is a great hidden gem in Fairfax for authentic Indian cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable, and one of the few restaurants that carries the culture along with their flavors. For those of you weak to spice or seeking out a good spicy dish without loosing layers of flavor this is the place. Every dish can be ordered at different levels of spice without loosing out on flavor.

The food is absolutely spectacular, and the service is incredible--their professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness and pride taken in the job is unrivaled. They have a wonderful selection of vegetarian dishes, and the Chana Masala was probably *the* best I have ever had, and my friend says their Butter Chicken is the best of any he has ever had. It's clear that whoever is in their kitchen is not only very good at what they do, but they also take great care and pride in their dishes, as the front of the house staff is clearly invested in the presentation of their space and the care of their customers. I heartily recommend this restaurant, and will absolutely be returning. Thank you, for a wonderful dining experience!

Awesome food, I recommend that you and dine in as opposed to take out. The place normally always have seating available and you don’t to call for reservations. The food continues to remain awesome for years now. If you certainly had to do a takeout, don’t forget to take a tray of Jalebi.

The food was phenomenal, best butter chicken I've had. I would definitely recommend, despite the language barrier, if you're looking for great Indian food. It was really difficult communicating with my server, but he was courteous. Parking won't be an issue. Do check Preet Palace out for great Indian food.
