What an absolute gem of a restaurant! The food was amazing! Best mushroom bisque on the planet. The TLC burger was the best burger I’ve ever had. Topped off the meal with “real” strawberry shortcake and from scratch key lime pie. The food and Chef Stafford could stand toe to toe with any big city restaurant. My only regret is that I live 600 miles from here and can’t enjoy it more frequently. Thanks for a wonderful experience. See you again next year.
This is the place to stop for local food!
The menu is creative, well balance of variety and local creations. It was refreshing to see chowder made with local fish and morel mushroom bisque at an affordable price!
We were traveling with our dog, and luckily the outside patio seating is dog friendly. The servers were attentive and the food was fresh and delicious! The fries were cooked perfectly, its hard to find a place that does good shoe string fries, and the fruit cup was a good variety, not just melon. My husband enjoyed his pork belly burger, staying it was crispy and fatty. The fish chowder was incredible, it was savory and seasoned just right.
Highly recommend checking out their little shop in the parking lot, that has souvenirs, drinks and pastries to go.
This place is really cute and clean. We loved their food. Service was fast. The food came out hot and fresh. The dessert was beautifully displayed and delicious
This was our first time to the area and it was recommended to go to Torch lake for the food and live music. The drinks were delicious, a Manhattan and a Hawaiian blue. The food was even better! Steak Marsala and Scottish salmon were marvelous. Then the live music started with Leann and Ivan, a perfect ending to a fun day! If you’re looking for good food and entertainment on a Friday night, this is your place!

Wedge Salad w/ Blue Cheese. (We prefer large Tomato slices rather than a few sliced Cherry Tomatoes with this salad).
Tasty lunch we took Mom for her 66th birthday. Key lime pie was delicious. As were other desserts. The nachos were disgusting, they did take them back and take them off the bill. Looks like they have live music there often I'm hoping to get back to see some live music.
absolutely only reason for the 4 star was because of the prices (bear in mind we got soup, upgraded sides, and desert), I don’t know it just a baffles me haha. Moving on… service was amazing!! Our waitress was so kind and very helpful. atmosphere and bathrooms were great. Food was very nice, that mushroom bisque was to die for. I appreciate the Ukrainian flags hanging outside, I love to see things like that:). **Not pictured- apple crisp
After a last minute change in Thanksgiving dinner plans, I ordered two turkey dinners from Torch Lake Cafe. I picked them up on Wednesday afternoon and only had to reheat (instructions were included). The turkey, mashed and sweet potatoes, green beans, dressing, rolls, gravy and cranberry sauce were exceptional! Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared with the kind of care you would do for yourself. And the best part? We even have leftovers!
It will be time very soon to dine-in and enjoy live entertainment and cheerful Christmas decorations!
