So flavorful and delicious. Came here for dinner and had to study the menu a little bit to figure out what to get! Am not as familiar with Latin street food so we didn’t know what to expect. Got the arepa paisa and desgranado. The meats were so good and the sauces just made the dishes. The portion was the perfect size too. Can’t wait to go back and try more! The restaurant is small. There were places to sit on a Thursday night at 6 but even then it started to fill up.

Loved this place! I don't get to Denver often, but when I do and can have a meal there, I try to pick something different to expand my palate. We LOVED the Yucca fries. All of the different dishes we had were great. I hope we are able to visit again soon.

As a Colombian that travels for work all over US I always make time to visit and enjoy Colombian food in every city I can and support our paisanos. Unfortunately, chocklo's food experience was disappointing on my first visit. The owner is a gentleman, very nice guy, clean place and many options on the menu, but I can only comment on the Colombian food I had. I have nothing against fusion food, mixing traditional flavors and trying new combinations but street food and traditional dishes are called traditional for a reason and that is what you expect. So here is our experience backed with pictures: - Bandeja Paisa, you can't say is traditional if your meat is from the chopped taco meat. Its carne molida or asada, Colombian style. Like on the picture of the menu for example. Did not order. - Colombian empanadas: I ordered 4, could only brake through one and a half, over fried, hard, dry and missing empanada Aji, instead was served chimichurri and taco sauce with them....Aji is not that hard to make, All the ingredientes are here... So why? - Arepa de Chocolo, more like a deconstructed, undercooked and smushy Mexican corn bread dough ( pan de elote) topped with cheese. (Nothing wrong with pan de elote)one of my favorites. Just not the same thing. - Arepa Andina was ok, however the plantains ( maduro) was burnt. - buñuelos. Really good, always good with pony malta, cafesito o aguapanela. Can't go wrong there. So it may be a different food style, a lot of people may love it. I get it.. specially if you don't know better or the traditional. Or it was just a bad day, But besides that.... the kitchen definitely need some adjustments.

I am in love with this place, how did I not know this was here!? Nestled back behind i25 off Yosemite, this hidden (or not so hidden) gem will not disappoint. I ordered the Torta Azteca and it was absolutely phenomenal! Also, they have an in house pastry chef and I would have bought all of those desserts if calories weren't an option. I still took home 2 desserts for later and I'm so glad I did! If you want variety and something new, or a great home vibe, this place will not disappoint!

Chocklo offers something unique, it embraces Latin culture and manages to capture that flavor as well. We got the Arepa Charra, Chocklo Desgranado and a guava smoothie. The food tasted excellent, the desgranado was just a tad but too oily(me just being picky). The overall taste and quality of the food was an 8/10. The guava smoothie was nice and fresh. The only downside was that the food took quite some time to come but as soon as they got more staff in things went quicker. The prices are on their menu and between 2 people we spent about $35. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and encourage everyone reading to try it!

Food was pretty good but expensive for the volume. We were also charged more than the prices listed online which caught me off guard. Additionally, had some issues with allergens (egg) which I thought I had expressed needs around clearly and anticipated needing to avoid in aioli but the restaurant didn’t extrapolate that restriction to menu items that didn’t clearly list ingredients containing eggs (ie. Sauce) and seemed generally unaware of the seriousness of this concern. Finally, the estimated time given was 10-15 mins for pickup but it took at least 30 mins to get our order which meant hanging out for an unplanned 15 mins.
