Absolutely love this place! They have the best cinnamon rolls in town. The lunch selection is limited but highly affordable and always delicious. If the cinnamon crunch bread is in stock GET IT! My boys love the whoopie pies and huge cookies. Staff is always super friendly and the place is always clean. They do get a little lunch rush between 11:30-12:30 most of which is construction guys but they move very quickly and everyone gets a fresh meal.

Bakery items were great. I prefer corn tortillas but their flour tortillas are still really good. Had the carnitas pork tacos and they l were good but I'd like to have mine rewarmed on a flat top to give them some crispiness and a little more flavor.

This is the best Mexican I've ever had. When I ordered my taco they asked me if I wanted American style or authentic. Of course I went authentic. It was so fresh. This place is seriously the cream of the crop that Cedar Rapids has to offer.

Fantastic place for lunch. Small selection of excellent authentic Mexican and American options. Perfectly fresh ingredients and friendly service at the counter make for a consistently great experience. And then there are the endless desserts, breads, cookies and cakes available. BEST BREAD PUDDING and Tres Leches north of the border. If you haven’t discovered this place yet, give it a try. (And then share the secret with only your closest friends, because it really is that good.)

First time going in after the boyfriend says his boss gets them items from here all the time. Got 3 pastries, a muffin, and a breakfast burrito all for under 8 dollars! And its absolutely amazing. Service was wonderful, lady at the register informed me on all of their items as well as what type of bread that they make, mind you, its all made fresh daily! Will be returning to get items to bring into MY employees!

Good authentic Mexican food!! Bakery items are amazing! They also sell homemade tortillas by the dozen. I'd love it if they added a few things to the menu. But overall I give it a👍.

I'm from the Southwest where fresh, warm tortillas can be bought at many grocery stores. I was so excited to learn The Bakery makes their own flour tortillas and they are perfect! The Tres Leches cake is amazing as well.
