This was my first time at Razzoo’s. Loved the atmosphere, the drinks, the blackened catfish and most important- the great service! This will be one of our regular places to go now 👍🏽

This is my go-to place in Cedar Hill especially for happy hour! It's nice because it's in the Hillside Village shopping center, so you can shop and eat with family and friends. The drinks are delicious -- my favorite is the Peach Mambo. If you want a drink that you can share with a group of your closest friends, the Gator Punch is a great option, but it's a little strong! I usually order the Rat Toes (batter-covered jalapeños stuffed with a shrimp/crab stuffing) -- you can order them virgin without the jalapeños, too. I ordered the Red Fish on my last visit after the super personable server suggested it and it was surprisingly very good (photo below)! If you want dessert, the bread pudding is to die for! This is a great place for family gatherings, graduations, and birthday parties as well. During happy hour after work, weekends, holidays, and game days, it can get pretty packed and there are wait times, but it's worth it! It's a really fun dining atmosphere.
Blackened Everything. What is it with Cajun restaurants in this area? Every time we go here the joint is jumpin'. Packed full of howling, laughing, loud talking people having fun. The restaurant is tightly packed with big groups taking up the tables that run down the middle of the place, making everyone in the booths that line the walls privy to whatever birthday party or get together is lingering with kids running everywhere unattended and chairs scraping around and people trying to pass one another, knocking into the diners in booths. The good news is the place is busy, the bad news is the place is busy and loud and rude. But, the food it classic Razoo's and everything I've tried there that is cooked "blackened" is fantastic. Oysters on the halfshell are always fresh and delicious. Get a table at the back of the restaurant avoid the restrooms and the entry where people jam in and block every door. And don't expect a quiet, romantic dinner, ain't happenin' here.

My only complaint is, they need handicap ramps by the door.
Love this place, the food is really great and you can get half portions of most of the menu items. If you are not that hungry. I ALWAYS GET THE SALAD WITH EXTRA FRIED ONIONS!
Fried pickles were excellent. I had the Jambalaya Pasta. It was very good. For a first time visit, it was an excellent visit.
