Panera Bread

Panera Bread in Castle Rock is always a pleasant and relaxing experience. It’s cozy if you’re wanting to dine in have great views of front range and a descent glimpse of Pikes Peak off in the distance in Colorado Springs. The facility is great, well maintained and always kept groomed. The customer service is excellent and always have been, the staff is pleasant at all times, the self check out automation is fabulous and if you’re in a hurry to get in and get out, no worries, these guys will certainly provide you with fast service. Oh by the way, the food in the menu is by far very tasty, especially the broccoli cheddar cheese soup, fabulous.

I love Panera, usually; however my order today was below par. After waiting 30 minutes for my delivery, and I could see that my dasher had to wait over 10 minutes at the restaurant, I get my food and desert only to have my drink watered down because the ice melted (it was apparently prepared first) and then I see that my bakery products are just dropped in the bag without anything on them. No bakery box or bag. I suppose I should feel lucky that my salad was in a bowl with a lid? Really. Unprotected food for a delivery. Thanks Panera. I expected better.

We have gone here a few times in the last 4 months. Each time has been worse than the last. We ordered via Uber Eats last time, and the sandwich was made with limited toppings and was cold (ordered a warm sandwich). We have always had a problem with the order arriving with missed items, wrong sizes (ordered a large and got a small), or underwhelming freshness. The coffee is usually decent. The baguette is still great. Unfortunately, this location is not a good representation of how Panera could be.

I should have checked the reviews before I visited, but I eat at Panera frequently, so I didn't think it was necessary. This location is SLOW. I had an infant with me, so instead of setting up the stroller or lugging the carrier inside, I decided to use the drive-thru. From the time I got in line to the time I left with my food, 40 minutes had passed. Luckily, I didn't have anywhere to be, but be careful if you're on a tight schedule because once you're in line, there's no way out but through. Other than the slow service, the food was good. Obviously the food is great, it's Panera, but the customer service at this location is just as good! After getting home from the drive thru tonight, our Pick 2s were in the bag but the Asiago cheese bagel had been forgotten. I called the store and Nate said he would set a couple aside for me...when I got there, not only did they give us an extra bagel but two brownies as well! Anyone can make a mistake, but it's how you make up for it that keeps customers coming back!

The last three times I have tried to go through the drive-through here they have gotten my order completely wrong. Very frustrating. Management needs to have their speaker system upgraded, the employees are clearly just winging it instead of double checking that they have the correct order while not being able to clearly hear what’s being said.

Tried to order through doordash and it wouldn’t allow me to add or change anything on the salad and when I called she said tough luck and wouldn’t even try to help me get my order placed. Also asked what the distance was on ordering through Panera and she couldn’t help me with that either so I will just order from somewhere else. Pretty sad to say I’m disappointed with this location in the last few years
