Fabulous experience at Saffron! The atmosphere is one of the best restaurants in Carson. They did a fabulous job at making this place feel welcoming yet modern. The food is very authentic and delicious! The tea, Turkish coffee, and desserts and rare specialties to find in this area. The waitress was also incredibly knowledgeable explaining each dish and the whole staff was friendly! Thank you for making our night!

Service... Wonderful!!! Food... In a word, Amazing! The flavors are so delicious! We had the tomato bites, lamb shank and koufteh... Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!!!! They don't serve soda, which is amazing! Their coffee and tea selections are fabulous!

The inside of the restaurant looks so nice and posh!! Don't be fooled by the plain exterior! There is a bar and a large seating area with modern decor. The food tastes fresh and not heavy or greasy at all. We shared a veggie kebab and a sultan kebab. The pepper that was served with it was very spicy!!! One of the kebabs that came with our meal was filet mignon, which I have never seen before! We enjoyed all the flavors although I was disappointed the veggie kebab didn't come with more vegetables. I think if you are a vegetarian and ordered only that, you would still be hungry. Both plates came with a LOT of rice! The food was more expensive than I thought it would be, but I have read this place tries to use organic and high quality ingredients, which can explain the price (saffron is a famously pricey spice). Expect an experience more like fine dining. This place does not serve soda, which is fine by me since I never order any at restaurants!! Instead, they have a wide assortment of fresh juices at about $6 each, alcohol, and things such as Turkish coffee. I think this restaurant would be perfect for a fancy date or a special occasion, or for someone that wants to have juice or coffee with a baklava. I would visit again!

I stopeed by for fifth time and every time gets better and better, The food tasting is awsome, I live in California and persian foods there is not as good as tasting in Saffron,. So fresh, real tasting of meat, the rice is the best. I had a koobideh kebab and I still fell good after my meal, and They offered me their homemade Saffron Baklava pistachio ice cream and was one of the best. you should definitely try it.

The atmosphere is modern and it suits the underground, speakeasy feel perfectly. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. While they are not currently operating the juice bar, they do still have a few fresh juices to choose from. The food is excellent - flavorful and satisfying. The menu ranges in price from $12 - $25 and is worth every penny. I hope you enjoy Saffron as much as I did!

Saffron is the greatest restaurant in Carson, and I've been to most of them. The food is delicious, authentic and varied. Everyone can find something wonderful to eat here. The decor inside is simple, but unique and inviting, and I get great service when I come here (3 times total). I highly recommend asking your server for suggestions, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and don't miss having a Turkish coffee.
