I've seen this place many times but have not had a chance to try it given that it's only open for lunch and breakfast. Finally had a chance to get there during breakfast and enjoyed the offerings. The place is small and not busy so it's possible to watch the chef at work. Obviously, everything is prepared to order with only minimal advance prep. This does mean it takes a bit longer for foods to arrive at your table.
Roosters are a love odd the place and are all over the place decorating the coffee cups, the decor. The menu. And many posters and knick knacks.
There is a regular menu as well as blackboards with specials. We tried one from each. The salmon hash with eggs Benedict was good as was there scrambled egg offering.
While the food was tasty and well prepared, the prices are very high. We spent $40 for two people. That's why i gave the place a four star rating.

Friendly service, but EXTREMELY SLOW!!! If you like good food but have a few HOURS to kill, give this place a try.
We visited PapaGallo Cucina today for the first time. Upon arrival, we were greeted and told we could sit at the booth that was available, the employee would just need to wipe it off, which she later did.
There were a variety of menu items for breakfast time - even for our "selective" eaters, including myself. Kristen, our waitress, was very pleasant and did attempt to check on us throughout our meal. The chef was also friendly and even brought out two small cinnamon buns for our small children to enjoy while we waited. WOW! Did we ever have to wait for our meals, despite the restaurant not being super busy on a Saturday morning. We probably waited upwards of 50 minutes from the time our orders were place before our first dish was presented. For our party of four, each dish was presented a few minutes apart from each other. The first person was just about done with their meal by the time the last plate was brought out from the kitchen. Not once, did our waitress apologize for the extreme wait or for the plates being delivered sporadically during our breakfast. We were easily in the restaurant for two hours!
Everything we ordered was very good. Perhaps take-out would be a better option, if you call well in advance. However for a sit down meal, I don't plan on dining here again.

If you are looking for a fabulous place for breakfast this is the place. The restaurant has a quite relaxed atmosphere. The wait staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Len, the owner and chef, prepares the most delicious omelets, and other breakfast fare. Their are many items to choose from including a number of specialty dishes every day. And prices are very reasonable. I have eaten here several times, and have never had a bad meal. I need to come back for lunch!

My brother and I enjoy having breakfast here when I'm in the area. The breakfast bowl with cheesy grits, roasted brussel sprouts, crumbled bacon and an egg on top served with whole wheat toast is awesome! There are also several gluten-free options, so the whole family can enjoy the experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's a little pricey, but worth it for the quality of food provided. Wish there was a PapaGallos in Maryland!

As I sit here, my omelette took 37 minutes to be started after placing my order. There are less than 10 people in the restaurant, so it’s not being busy. Just a complete lack of ability to make an easy meal in a reasonable amount of time. I can’t tell you if the food is any good, because they won’t work hard enough to bring it out. Completely and utterly disappointed. Will not be back.

I’d been here once before and forgot how expensive and slow the food was—all I remembered was that it was pretty good. Today isn’t. I just got a salad for takeout that was wildly expensive. $17 for a salad.....? I expected more quantity at least, but it’s a pretty standard size salad. In fact, the chicken on it is WAY less than I would have expected. It’s about 1/3 of a breast. On a $17 salad. And the chicken is TERRIBLE. It’s dry and chewy and tastes like it was cooked yesterday and just microwaved. And yet it took 20 minutes for my *takeout* salad to be prepared. For $17 and 20 minutes, I better get a large salad with generous serving of FRESH chicken. I’m just flabbergasted. Yikes. Unless you’ve got plenty of money, all the time in the world, and a casual approach to quality, skip this place.

This place is absolutely delicious! Everything they make, they make well. Len, the chef, is world renown and this is his retirement gig. Eat here. But understand that it's going to be at least a 60 minute experience. It's worth the wait, though

My friend and I ate here today on our lunch break. Really want to give this place more stars as the food is pretty good, and the people are nice. However it took forever for a Reuben and Grilled Cheese Sandwich. They didn't even come out together. My friend watched me eat my sandwich and we had to get his to go. It seems like a couple simple adjustments would really improve their efficiency.
My wife is a chef and would like to share the food experience, but I can't do it knowing how long it takes to get a Reuben and a Grilled Cheese.
