Just awesome. This place is packed at times but the service is always excellent. It’s surprising how quickly they can seat people as well.
It doesn’t matter what you order, because everything is good. The corned beef hash and poached eggs are so delicious, and it seems like the hash is homemade as well. Pancakes are huge and the pumpkin pancakes they have right now are the best. Highly recommend stopping here.

You need some Bob's Diner in your life. Came back multiple times when visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend.
All the food was delicious especially the crab cake eggs Benedict and the pancakes. Wonderful staff and the hometown diner vibes were a perfect way to start the day.

The food was great! I had the corned beef hash with eggs and rye toast. First of all, the rye toast was incredible. It was so fresh and tasty that I got a second side order. I love they way that they make the hash browns, crispy and delicious. The service was awesome too. They worked so well together helping each other out like a team. It was fun to watch.

It was just OK place. I’ve had soup and half sandwich during the lunch. Children soup was way too salty for my taste. Tina sandwich was fine. They also put a lot of potato chips on the plate. It didn’t really make it a healthy lunch after all. But the place seems to be pretty busy in the middle of the day. Many customers appreciate this type of food. The diner is pretty popular with local seniors. They were easily accounted for 70%-80% of the crowd.

On July 3rd about two hours from closing time, I stopped by for the first time and had the most awesome waitress, service and food. In fact it was SO GOOD that I went back the next day around lunch time. BUT not only I walked into three waitresses having a very tense conversation with one another... when I saw my waitress of the night before and asked if she would serve me again, another girl sarcastically said "I am your waitress". I placed my simple order of avocado toast and Pepsi and went outside to seat. The waitress handed me the most awful watery burnt toast with scraps of avocado and smashed little tomatoes. It looked gross and there was not enough to cover the second half of the toast. I asked her what is this. She explained why it was soaking wet and did not offer to have it redone or be kind to me with my disappointment. She expected me to just eat that questionable and dirty order. So I left. Not only was the cook horrible on that day, but that waitress is the reason I will never go there again. I went back excited to see the place again, and left feeling treated less than human. She did not care about the customer at all; she was condescending. Her and that cook should not work there... They take the place down and the customer's morale along with it.
