This was my first time there. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with such friendly restaurant staff, seated quickly away from the pizza oven when they saw I wear oxygen. (Very thoughtful) Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Jim Bartlett (mgr that evening) came to check on us a few times to make sure everything was good. Loved the menu and enjoyed the best pizza I've ever had. Will definitely be returning.
The food was amazing. I enjoyed a pepperoni flat bread pizza. Everything tasted fresh and organic. Even when I was full. It felt like a healthy full. I highly recommend this place.
Decent food, good entertainment, and very good venue. The only thing I would want to change is the restrooms... Very claustrophobic and un-sanitary.
Not Too Shabby. Paid my first visit to Flatbread Co. a couple of weeks ago. The food is pretty good, but could use some tweaking. I shared the Homemade Sausage pizza with my mother-in-law. We liked it, but it was really missing something. It was just a bit bland and could've used some zing. Not much, but just a little something complimentary to make the flavor of the sausage pop (the sundried tomatoes didn't do it). The buffalo chicken pizza that my husband and his brother had was much better and made us wish we'd gotten that instead. It was delish. A note on the atmosphere - they should really consider tinting the windows. The sun was so in-your-face while we were there it was quite uncomfortable. I wouldn't mind giving this place another shot to see what else they've got to offer next time we're in town.
Great food. Good beer selection. Fresh ingredients. Great homemade dough. Friendly service. Local beers and local veggies. Even local cheeses for the salad which is always a good combo with flatbread (pizza). Have never made it to the deserts yet. Wife's statement as I was writing it was " this place is seriously awesome". Campy atmosphere.
Best pizza in town. All fresh natural ingredients. They have great unusual pizzas. They also are great with food allergies, including gluten-free pizzas. The only negative is that it is a bit pricey.
I LOVE THE FOOD HERE!!
I got the Cheese and Herb Pizza and it was like a religious experience it was so good!! The service here is amazing as well, the staff is so welcoming and nice!! I would 100% recommend coming here to anyone who is looking for a good pizza place in the area!!
Simple ingredients, locally grown products, and chill vibes made Flatbread a delicious experience.
I love the ambience of the place. The brick oven is the heart of the open kitchen. There's nothing fancy about the food, but full of flavor. You can taste the freshness and quality of the salad. And the dough of the flatbread is thin, light, and just the right amount of chewiness. We really enjoyed the food and friendly service. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to dinner in with their family or just yourself.
Fantastic!!! Great food – flatbread, salad, it's an fantastic. The lemonade is great, definitely worth trying if you're into alternative lemonades. What I think the hidden gem of this place is though is the dessert. I've never had a bad dessert there; really, every dessert I've had there has been spectacular. Also!! Tremendous atmosphere! Great decorations! Very in touch with the community!
Hands down the best Flatbread(pizza) in CT. This place has incredible wood fired pizza, excellent, friendly service and super positive vibes.
Also, the open wood fired oven is visible from throughout the restaurant, and fills the place with warmth and pleasent smokiness.
This place is not to be missed if you're in the area, and if you're not, then it's absolutely worth a special trip.
The quality of the pizza at this place is on par or better than the best spots in NYC.
If you're around, check this place out. Super delicious and cool decor to go along with it. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I've only gone once and I've only tried two things off the menu. Some holiday drink and a flatbread.. I'll definitely come back though.
Me and my boyfriend stopped here for a late lunch. The greet at the door was a very nice gentleman who gave us the option of booth or table and allowed the two of us to claim a very large booth made for a large family. The waitress, Nicole, was amazing. Told me about their choice of house made version of Arnold Palmer. She came back to check in that I liked it. My boyfriend doesn't like mushrooms so she was able to have that topping split. Nicole was a very informative and friendly waitress that made the experience just a bit sweeter.
Have eaten at Flatbread numerous times throughout the past few years, it is always consistent. Service can be a little slow at times, and toppings typically don’t cover entire flatbread. Cozy atmosphere, excellent food
Great place to have a no frill chill good. Basic flatbreads with great combinations. Huge place with an earthy no frill touch.
