I had never been before. Nice little place. Food was great. Bartender/server could not have been nicer, so friendly and helpful.

I loved the vegan buffalo chicken pizza with vegan ranch dipping sauce. I paired it with an Irish cider that turned out perfectly. I liked that the place has an older style and charm and was curious to know about its history. I will definitely come here again if I'm in town.

My parents (Stoughton locals) are creatures of habit, and they usually go to the same restaurant EVERY Friday. However, they've started switching it up and going here, which should tell you in itself how good it is. They specifically raved about these onion rings, which I tried when I was home over Christmas break, and they are...the BEST I've ever had. I ordered the fish and chips, which are very fresh. They have a pretty extensive vegan menu, which is unusual for a little dive bar, but I'm sure it's much appreciated--there's not a lot of vegan options in the area.

Turnpike is so great. Excellent pub food, a whole vegan menu too (you have to ask for that menu but they make a vegan version of many pub food favorites). We bring our kids here and come here weekly because it’s a chill atmosphere, low key, great prices, great food.

The Turnpike is such a hidden gem! It definitely qualifies as a townie spot, but the locals are SO friendly that no one would feel out of place or unwelcome. The food is excellent; I don't live as close to the Turnpike now, but I'll happily drive an hour for the turkey club. Extensive menu of great pub food (plus a ton of vegan options!) and a solid craft beer and specials list as well. A must-stop if you're anywhere near Canton.
