This place is AMAZING! Best food I’ve had in all of North Carolina, I was shocked! So much flavor and good portion sizes, this is a must try place! First time I went was at night for dinner and the mushroom ravioli was to die for, the tenderloin medallions were so delicious, and the pimento mac and cheese was fire! Only slight hiccup was that the drinks were a tiny bit slow to come out to us but it was busy.
Second time I went was for lunch and had the buffalo chicken dip and it was the best I’ve ever had. So creamy, so delicious, best flavor! At lunch we sat at the bar and the service was GREAT! Chris was such a doll and we loved chatting with him.
The Christmas decor was up and it was so beautiful, the whole vibe was spot on!
If you get the chance to try this place, I highly recommend it!

The golf course was in excellent shape. The back 9 is very challenging for anybody looking for a good test. The tree house cottages were great and clean. The food and service in the dining/bar area were fantastic. I would recommend the resort and look forward to going again.

Springdale is an amazing, well-maintained mountain course with exceptional views and diversity of holes. The brand-new club house and facilities are excellent, as is the dining. I love the plaza where all can enjoy yard games with a view. It’s no wonder Springdale was voted top new golf clubhouse in 2022!
I also appreciate Springdale stepping up to host the high school girls regional golf competition after another course pulled out. Despite one reviewer referencing cart availability during this major spectator event, Springdale has state of the art carts and availability has never been an issue, even during normal tournament play.
The exception is when dozens of parent spectators all want single-rider carts. I have been to numerous high school golf competitions across the state, and almost always encounter this same scenario. I do know that Springdale prioritized cart accommodations for spectators with mobility issues, as well.
Few courses, except perhaps the exclusive clubs serving the elite private schools where this reviewer is from, would keep fleets of carts on hand for spectators that would go unused the other 364 days of the year. I for one am grateful that Springdale dedicated their course for two days during peak fall season to host a public high school girls golf tournament. Well done Springdale for making your country club caliber course available for public play for these aspiring lady golfers.

Absolutely one of the top courses in Western North Carolina. Challenging, and always in great condition. The mountain views are fantastic, especially in the fall. And the staff is both welcoming and helpful.

I played the course back in 2021 and thought then it had potential to be what it is today. I really enjoyed my round. The fairways were in great shape. Really the quality of this course is above Maggie Valley and it should get more play than Maggie. I love the surroundings and all the new structures that has been built. Thanks for allowing us to play your beautiful golf course.

It has been years since I played at Springdale. I was absolutely mesmerized. It was not the course nor the setting I remember. The course is beautiful, in the condition of a PGA course…maybe better than many. The development of the homes made us slow down and look at the gorgeous designs. Maybe that’s why we took so long to get around this magnificent property. There’s going to be many surprised people that haven’t played here in a while….just like me and my friend. I’ll be back soon.

Course plays really well. Greens were smooth and divot-less. Fairways were in amazing shape. The views are untouched too! Stunning!
Great spot for a bachelor party stay-and-play, also amazing spot for a wedding. Onsite lodging and some AMAZING homes too!
Pro shop and amenities were perfect! Ill be playing this course again!
