Hillside Pub

Place is great. Standard hometown bar, with tons of friendly people and solid pub food. Bar tenders were very attentive. I'm from out of town, and stopped in on the recommendation of a friend who had grown up in the area. Came in knowing no one, and left feeling like I had a bunch of new friends. Stop in here!

I’m probably shooting myself in the foot reviewing Hillside, because I really don’t want more people to know about this largely hidden gem. A cozy Irish pub in the truest sense of the word, filled with locals from Canton to Donegal. Super-efficient, friendly staff who have your well-poured beverage waiting for ya the moment you walk in. Food is amazingly all homemade in the teeny kitchen, from the turkey soup to delicious sandwiches to the tasty bar pizzas. And a fantastic value, too. If you want a proper pint, a great bite, and banter that’ll make you think your back in Killarney, stop into the Hillside. If you can find it. (If not, that works for me.)
