Went to this Italian restaurant to eat because the other restaurants nearby were busy. Was hesitant to try here due to the recent poor reviews on Yelp and Google. Took the risk. Drinks were good. Food was okay. Some of it was good and others were just average. Service was all over the place as mention in other reviews. This place is a hit or miss. I for one, will look for other places before going back. Food: Mac & Cheese Balls were delicious. They give you two sauce. One side is chedder cheese and the other side is marinana. The marinara has no place to be mixed with the Mac and cheese. There is two balls. They deep fry the balls. Inside the balls are delicious Mac and cheese. Penne was just okay. Nothing to brag about. It does come with quite amount of meat. If you are a meat lover, than you will love this dish. There are a lot better pasta joints that are better. Butter Salad with salmon is delicious. The berry compliment s the salad, but the bacon doesn't. The dressing is very suttle. If you choose to have the chicken instead of the salmon, be prepare to have a dry chicken. Do not get your salad with chicken. There is literally no moisture in the chicken at all. Drinks: Kevin's rainbow was strong, but sweet. The drink leans heavily towards the carribean taste. I would recommend squeezing the lemon and lime slices. It alters the taste completely and its for the better. CBC Kali Kolsch beer is light and refreshing. Great to drink with your meal. The restaurant also carries local and imported beer if you are not too venturous. The wine choose is small, but will compliment your pastas. Service: Our waiter Taylor was nice. He made sure we were okay when the kitchen messed up our order. Our table had issues, and he was more than helpful to fix the issue. My girlfriend asked for salmon. They gave her chicken instead. We had another waiter helped us with our situation. He had long hair tied back. Don't know his name, but he was cool and helpful too. They quickly replaced the chicken with Salmon. Lucky for my girlfriend, she isn't allergic to chicken. Please replace the whole meal instead of offering it as a side. The lady that took our finish plate was kind of rude. She didn't even ask me if it was okay to take my plate before she grabbed it. She just assumed I was done. For some reason, another worker grabbed my check with credit card. I don't know what happened, but it took forever to process the card. Seriously, I could of went to the bar and got a drink and come back. I would still not have my check. Eventually, Taylor had my card and brought it to me. Pricing: The food was expensive for the quality you get. For the price you pay, I would assume it would be more romantic, but instead it feels as if the owner is trying to please everyone. Either be a bar or be an Italian restaurant. Don't do both because they clash. Ambience: The light is dim here. I wouldn't recommend having kids here. Its aim more towards the adult side of dining and drinking. Music is loud from the bar side if you are dining here. They need to put a wall to seperate the bar side. Seats have cushioning. Tables seem very spaced out.

The food was tasty. The pizza head a good flavor. I might say that crust was a bit overcooked. I like slight crunch to the crust but this was not more. Met the owner and he was great. See picture. His Balls are wonderful - order them. The staff is great and friendly.

Delicious! Nice and comfy with really good food. I loved the lemony chicken and my sister loved her pasta. The watermellon strawberry salad was perfection.. can't wait to go back again!

The staff was really nice. It's pretty cool what they did with the place aesthetically. Way classier than the last spot. And the chef from Vin Santo in Willow Glen is apparently the owner! Food: TRY THE BALLS!!! Mac & Cheese balls and the meatballs are phenomenal if you're looking to snack. They've also got larger dishes, and group dishes as well. For drinks, they have a full bar, and still a lot of the Campbell Brewing Co classics. (Glad they kept the brewery!) Check it out, it's dope!

Given the number of people in the bar, service was really SLOW. Food, was OK. The only plus was the beer. They have a great selection of beers on tap. However, both Spreads and Mo's also have a wonderful slection of beers on tap. These establishments are just down the street from Il Sogno. Both Spreads and Mo's provide outstanding service. Might try Il Sogno again but this is the second time I've been here and service has been poor both times.

I meet with friends this great spot quite a bit! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I visit this spot regularly. The meals are excellent, the workers are polite and the cost is reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this place over a good supper.

I dont understands how this place is so well rated. We were a party of 3 and wanted to try something new, so we went here. We got the #%@#$ burger, penne and meat sauce pasta and the spaghetti and alfredo sauce pasta. Let's start with the burger which they put so much pride into, it has SO many ingredients mushrooms onions, cheese, avocado, and egg and nuch more. How can something with so many ingredients taste so bland? The burger smelled of garlic and tasted of only garlic and oil. The fries were under seasoned and obviously not fresh. The alfredo pasta was swimming in a CUP of oil and the consumer felt sick 30 minutes after consuming. The meat pasta was mediocre at best and the meat just looked unappetizing. The 2 starts come from local beers and a descent selection of them. Would not return. And the claimed closing time is 11 but the employees say that the owner closed when he feels like it, so it can range from 9 to 11. This is honestly some Kitchen Nightmares place, Ramsey please save this place!
