Coliseum

The music is incredible. A+ for whoever picks the music. I'm always rocking out while I shoot pool with my buddy. The tables are in decent shape too, with no gravity pockets as far as I can tell. The drinks are nice, when they arrive, and I secretly wonder if they make the food take forever so that I'll get more drunk while I'm waiting, but it's more likely that they're just understaffed. The bowling is reasonably priced but the oil is so light it may as well not be there. If you're a straight bowler like 90% of people not on a league you'll be fine but if you spin your ball, expect lots of gutters. I haven't really tried the arcade. It's not a bad place to be with friends, but it has its flaws like any other place.

Had my daughters birthday party here. Was suppose to be at 12pm. Doors opened after 12, so no time for set up on my part. Guy had told us our party was downstairs by pool table and lights were off and chairs were still up. Then was told our party was upstairs where we found that there was nothing set up and chairs up with a cold room and dim lights. Went downstairs to bowl and the machine was constantly breaking. The screen went black and and lane had to be reset a few times. Got moved next to another party. Went upstairs and had food. Had to wait forever for cutlery until one of the people in our party had to track someone down for spoons when we needed both spoons and forks. Overall needs better organization and maybe not so many birthday party’s scheduled all at once or maybe have an attendant for each individual party. The best part of the party was seeing my daughter smile and them having a bar to get drinks to forget about the not so good service.

DON’T BUY THE FOOD! My daughter and I went for a treat meal to The Coliseum. They opened at 4pm which is what time we arrived and there was hardly anyone there which means quick service…or so I thought. I ordered a dozen wings for my daughter and a dozen for myself. With blue cheese it came to $43!! Bar lady assured me the wings were good and worth it. I don’t think I’ve ever paid that much for wings around here. With maybe one other person in the building the wings took 35 minutes to come out and they were the blackest/burnt looking wings I’ve ever seen. Plus, of the 24 pieces, maybe 4 were wings. I told the bar lady that the chicken pieces were dry, burnt and lacked wing. She responded with, ‘they’re supposed to look that way. The chef only had them in the fryer for all but 7 minutes’ So there you have it folks. Had a 35 minute wait time and $43 worth of chicken pieces which if it had been described to me before I ordered, I would never have stayed. Like an Olympic bobsliegher, the place is really going down the shoot.

Took my girl out for a date night here and we had a blast. Enjoyed a couple of drinks, at the bar downstairs. They had multiple lanes for bowling and several pool tables.We spent at least 3 hours just playing games in the arcade, like a couple of kids. Got ourselves a reloadable game card, and had so much fun, we loaded it a second time with more chips than the first. We will be doing date night here again. Saved half of our 2nd round of game chips for our next date night. Thank you to The Coliseum Crew for all their hard work.

Overall, it was fun. But it REALLY needs a make over. I remember coming here about 10 years ago when I was in college and it was amazing, but it didn't really age well with time. 1. A third of the games were broken or missing something. The gun for time crisis was inaccurate, there was a puck missing from the air hockey table, various machines were out of service. 2. The drinks and the food were good. Shout out to the shrimp basket. The bar was run SUPPPPER slow, and that was before it got busy. Special thanks to tyrique, though, he was very nice/friendly. 3. The staff was nice. Very laid back and approachable. They provide a chill atmosphere, I just wish they would get some more techs in there for maintenance/upkeep. 4. The bowling lanes were broke broke. My friends tried to bowl but the lane couldn't handle returning the balls. This place could benefit shutting down for like a month, upgrade, and come back new and improved.

This place is HORRIBLE. The bowling alley vents in the ceiling are filthy and they’re leaking. They just replaced the ceiling tiles but didn’t even fix the leaking problem. The cushions are torn up and have deep holes in them. DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON BOWLING!! When I went with my family, the pins kept falling out of the machine that picks them up to clear the pins that were knocked down. The ball kept getting stuck when it was trying to come up. Not to mention when we first came in to get a lane, the guy said we could bowl in lane 2 but sit in lane 3. What sense does that even make??? Who would sit in a lane they wouldn’t be bowling in? The least he could’ve done is made the people move. After all, it is his job. Half of the games upstairs in the arcade room are outdated and don’t even work. What’s the point of even going up there to play games when there’s barely any of them? Trying to buy prizes from the prize area was annoying. We waited there for a long time for no one to even help. We talked to the guy at the bowling alley and asked if he could come up, his response was, “I’ll be up there in a little while” he was literally standing there doing absolutely nothing. I don’t recommend anyone coming here, save your money. Will not be returning. I do understand the staff shortage, though. Not sure how this place is still running.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Went on Saturday for my wife's birthday. Had my card on file for drinks they said they wouldn't charge me on the card if I paid cash. So I paid cash. Come to find out the server stole my cash and still charged my card!! The manager refused to repremand the employee and this morning has now charged my card for an extra 8 dollars for a tip when I already gave a tip in cash!! Do not go here!!! They have stolen 100+ dollars from me already when my bill was only 44! Manger will not fix situation!! Poor business practice and their employees!!

Horrible experience! Originally going to go to Dave and Busters but it was packed with lines several deep for most games. So we opted to come here. Worst. Mistake. Ever. Several friends with us were new to the area and I was thoroughly embarrassed after bringing them here. Half the arcade games were broken/out of service, all were dingy. Trash was overflowing. And that was just upstairs. Downstairs, the bar was slow, there were people using the pool tables as coat racks while there was a wait list 6 groups deep, and the bowling alley smelled like a high school boys' locker room. Dank and musty with half the lanes not working. And seriously... can anyone tell me what is with the recliner on the ledge above the steps? This place was nice five years ago, but it's taken a nosedive since. We definitely won't be back... even though we still have cash left on our game card!
