La Terraza Mexican Grill

I really enjoyed this restaurant on a visit with friends. That particular visit I actually ordered the vegetarian burrito and it was actually scrumptious. It was huge and I planned to eat only half, bit it was so good I actually finished the whole burrito. I liked this restaurant so much that a few weeks later I returned with the same friends and got the enchilada combo plate and again, so good! The server was very kind and attentive. The restaurant is clean and nice, and has a good atmosphere. This restaurant is not on Main St. in Cambria so many tourists may not realize it's there, but if you read this review, I absolutely recommend it. Mexican food is my comfort food and favorite cuisine and La Terraza does a wonderful job. This restaurant will always be on my rotation whenever I am in town, which is often. I would consider this restaurant to be a more elevated dining experience than a couple of the other local Mexican restaurants, however it is not more expensive and they have Taco Tuesday! How great is that!? Try this place, you won't be disappointed.

We found this place by accident and glad we did. Its in Cambria up the hill. We got there not crowded. Was met by a lot of smiling people and seated us right away. And we ordered. The food was great. Only certain things I can eat and not spicy. But it was so good. I got the 2 flautas. Rice and beans and they were delicious. You gotta try it. Sorry no pics. I was to full to care. Lol

There were only a few people dining when we arrived at the peak of lunch hour on a Thursday. (That always makes me worry a bit) But the restaurant was elegantly decorated and so clean, so we stopped in. My husband ordered the shredded beef chimichanga plate and I ordered the 2 shrimp taco plate. Our meal was so delicious. Warm, crisp chips were immediately brought to our table. The rice was perfect and the homemade refried beans were so tasty. The shrimp was flavorful and plentiful. The beef tender. We shared our entrees and thoroughly enjoyed both (and didn't breaking the bank.) The staff was very nice and accommodating. Also, the top floor window view was beautiful. What a great dining experience we had! We would definitely eat here again the next time we are in Cambria.

The meat burrito with soy meat was incredibly good. I can't say I've had a better wet burrito that was vegetarian. This place has tofu as well. The next time I went I had the cheese enchilada with green sauce and it was just about the best one I've ever had! Service was on point and very attentive as well.
