Four of us had a lovely evening with excellent service and delicious entrees. Our steaks were very good, the sole was a little bland. Salads were delicious! The pricing is very reasonable and it’s a charming setting; quiet and cozy.

I only wish I could give more stars. I'm not one to post positive or negative reviews for restaurants, but...
Something has changed. My wife and I visited this little gem of a restaurant, and let me just start by saying, "Oh my frickin' gosh! " I was just scrolling through places to eat while we were in San Simeon and stumbled on this place purely at random. The reviews seemed pretty positive, and the photos were nice, too. I ordered the flat iron steak with broccoli and Yukon golden mashed potatoes. My wife, she ordered penne pasta with spinach. The moment we took our first bites, it transported us to a country we haven't been to in quite some time. "Flavor Country". The food was so good we momentarily forgot what day it was. I'm gonna stop typing. Just do yourself a favor and go eat here. If steak or pasta isn't your thing, they have a pretty decent selection of food to choose from. The service is great too. The staff was very nice. We will absolutely be coming back. Just skip El Chorlito restaurant. Yeah, their food sucked. Worst Mexican food we've had in a long time.

I was truly not expecting to have one of the best meals of my life when we chose to have dinner at Indigo Moon a few weeks ago. If I am completely honest, a lot of the restaurants in Cambria have been a little bit of a letdown. I vacation in Cambria a couple of times a year and had a small family group with me and we decided to try a Indigo Moon for the first time. Easily one of the top two prime rib steaks I have ever had in my life, and I have been lucky enough to have eaten at some very famous steakhouses and many high end restaurants in the past. My son got the New York strip and was equally impressed as was his girlfriend who ordered the lamb chops. My daughter wanted something simple and got mac & cheese, and said it was probably the best mac & cheese she had ever had. And I almost forgot to mention the broccoli. I really don’t know how you make broccoli That is twice as good as any other broccoli but I could’ve just had a plate full of broccoli and been happy. And I don’t even like vegetables usually. I’m starting to sound like a friend of the restaurant or a paid review or some thing and I promise you I’m not. I was just that impressed with my meal And I will definitely be going back every time I go to Cambria. Thank you indigo moon.

One of the best restaurants on our USA trip! Super friendly and great food, also for vegetarians! Healty options what was rare the last 3 weeks.
Large portions.
You should definitely come 😉

We'd reserved a table in a quiet corner. It sure was that. And dark. I stood on a chair to redirect a spot light, and a crew member brought us a candle. Now we had us a date in this cute restaurant. Service was swift portions were large. We ordered too much. Crab cakes very good. Sweet potato Fries aioli filling. Flank steak nicely done. Artic char superb. Sides tasty. Chocolate tower split. The Seal pinot noir really smooth. All well done after a murky beginning.

We always go there when in Cambria. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in the area. Their lobster bisque is top notch and so is the goat cheese salad. I am not a big eater, so I usually have soup and salad, but everything on the menu looks amazing!

I had high expectations based on online reviews. This restaurant lived up to them to a point, but it did fall short with a couple items. We chose to sit in the garden not realizing the winds that day would make it chilly there, in spite of the many large, leafy trees and high fencing. Fortunately there were heaters by every table. The hostess was bubbly and sweet and treated every person and dog with equal enthusiasm and kindness. Our server was very accommodating as well. Dishes were arriving to all of the tables very slowly, so perhaps the kitchen was understaffed. The leek tart appetizer and pear and greens salad were fresh and tasty. The two loaded salmon tacos were as well. We would order those three dishes again. Beef and pork seem to be the restaurant’s forte, so ordering the duck was probably not a good idea. As recommended we ordered the duck medium rare. However, it came to the table quite rare. The meat and fat were undercooked, stringy and not entirely edible. The seasoned rice on the side was too salty for its overall flavor to be appreciated, and it was a little overcooked. The bread pudding was pleasant and well baked, but its flavor wasn’t distinct. The raspberry sauce on the side was, however. The menu pricing was a bit lower than reviews we read had stated.

Our 2nd dinner here, 1st a year and half ago when we were last in Cambria. We had the same server as last time! It says something good about a restaurant when staff stay. The ambiance is great with several indoor and two outdoor dining areas There is a covered patio and garden are with majestic trees, both with heaters. This time we had salmon tacos and flank steak, both excellent, cooked perfectly. Dessert was bread pudding and creme brulee. Recommended!!

The food is very good. There is quite a bit to choose from while perusing the menu. It's very difficult making a choice everything sounds very good.
The service is very good. I believe our servers name was Dakota. She was lovely. Very knowledgeable about the menu. Can't wait for a repeat performance.
