Craving a pasty. My first choice was the superette but they have pasties tomorrow. Then tried Tony's but they were closed. I was out of ideas and the husband drove us to subway. Then I saw this place advertising pasties. So we went there instead. I had the best pasty ever. It was perfectly portioned and baked. I also got a 7 layered bar which was delicious and tried my husband's daily special which was really good too! All around great experience.
So glad we stopped by this place on our trip through Michigan. Not only were the pastries hot and delicious but the cinnamon roll was also absolutely delightful!

First time pasty did not disappoint! Learned about the history and the do's and don'ts on how to eat it. Delicious and good stop on our trip.
On vacation and stopped in at the recommendation of a local. The pasties were amazing, and the people behind the counter were super friendly to my children. The sweets were a yummy treat.
I just recently discovered that Jen's is a hidden gem! I always knew she had pastys, which are TOP NOTCH! (Def a favorite) But her bakery selection is also my new favorite place to get anything. She takes requests and is super nice, cute place, good prices, great customer service.! 11/10 recommend! Haven't tried anything I didn't immediately love!
Wow. 4 dollars for a single pasty with rutabaga, beef, carrots, onion, and potatoes. Thick dough. Simply amazing and a deal. Wide selection of pastries and bread as well. A gem!
I love the food. The salads with chicken are amazing. Soups are always great. I would like to see the bread for hot sandwiches toasted. By the time I get my food home, the untoasted bread has absorbed all the heat and juices, leaving the sandwich dry and lukewarm. Toasting is just a way to elevate the quality as well as keeping hot food hot. Thanks so much and have a great day!
Saw the neon sign advertising pasties and decided to pass up on subway and give this place a try. I got three pasties, three cookies and a lemon bar and they all were phenomenal. They definitely know how to season their pasties right, and this will be a new spot to grab lunch for sure. The woman at the front counter was very friendly and helped answer all the questions I had.
A great pasty. However sorry to give you a four. I had a cousin Jenny make pasties. Growing up in Finnish family from the UP no comparison. But it is spot on fresh, more than adequate. The English (cousin Jenny) brought the pasty here. The Finn's made it better. Yours is top notch
