What a fantastic place. Took my son and family (16) of us for dinner. Staff was fantastic and the food was magnificent. Great cozy place and we had the fireplace behind us to stay warm... Service was top-notch and she was super friendly and put up with a big group. Highly recommend!

My colleagues and I spent two nights at the hotel next door. On both evenings, we met at the Countyline Tavern for dinner. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was outstanding.
We invented a new burger on the second night. I recommend it. Order the burger with Gorgonzola cheese, tomato jam, and candied bacon. You won’t regret it.
So the restaurant is 5 stars, the food is five, although there was one minus, the calamari had a film that stretched like a hair, I almost vomited. The service was at three.
We sat down at a table on the grass, we were immediately given a menu. Nobody approached us for 15 minutes. I do not like when the waiters come very often, but in this case within an hour after taking the order no one came, food was brought quickly. an hour later our waiter approached and asked if everything was ok, then after 15 minutes we started trying to pay, we waited 40 minutes to bring us the bill, I asked another waiter three times to remember about us our waiter. I saw our waiter go around all the tables several times, ask people if everything is ok. I try waved hands, but we were not seen. I can't say that he is a bad waiter, he was friendly that time when he took the order😅because of this, we did not have time to go to the grocery store🤦🏼♀️
Had a great experience. The food was good. We had pasta with shrimp, Wellington steak, onion soup and deep fried calamary. Everything were done perfectly and skilfully. The only concern were carrots. They were a little bit on a hard side, so I wish they were cooked longer to make them softer. The service (forgot the name of our waiter) was very attentive and caring. So far one of the best service I've ever had. Recommend this place.
I have been here twice in the past few months and I really like the layout with the fireplaces and open seating inside. The food has been good both times we were there. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is both times the service was slow and at times non existent. There was maybe 10 people at the bar and it took forever to get someone's attention for just a water. They shore that up with employees and it's a great place to stop in and have a drink and bite to eat.
DRINKS: Everyone knows they have a great selection of beers, I found a couple new beers to enjoy (menu needed updates). My wife enjoyed one of their specialty mixed bourbon based drinks, which was fantastic. APPETIZER of fried calamari was done well, and their sriracha sauce was delicious. DINNER was the Reuben and their cheeseburger. The house made chips were crisp and tasted like potato chips, the COMPLAINT was that my fries tasted like corn chips (dirty fry oil?). Other concern was the bartender was not able to suggest drink choices based on our tastes.
Service is good once the server got here. Hostess forgot to give me a menu. Very nice beer selection. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is also very nice. Contryline stir fry was good, though I prefer a nice fried rice compared to the brown rice server.
I came here thinking I was hungry enough to crush an appetizer and an entree by myself, but the short rib poutine (which was amazingly delicious) was big enough to put me out... so I had dessert instead. Their beer list had some real winners and my server's suggestions were all perfect.
Will definitely come back next time I am in the neighborhood!
We held out first ever Holiday Season Get Together at this venue. The owners and staff were great, always a please, thank you, anything I can get you, ect. Ten stars!!!!!!!
Very warm and cozy feeling tavern. Has a nice wood lodge type feel with wood accents, dim lights, and multiple fireplaces. Also had two lounges with coughs if you want a more comfortable spot to socialize. The staff was very welcoming when I arrived. Let me know the specials of the day, and checked up on me in good intervals.
The restaurant and bar itself has great daily food and drink specials along with happy hour specials that even run on the weekend! Thursday's daily drink special is 50% off cans, bottles, and bombers. Also, I haven't try it yet, but Mondays beer and a burger for 15 will definitely have me visit again.

Came for lunch, was definitely worth it. There weren't a lot of people, but the service and food were still amazing. I have to be gluten free and onion free, so I got the Adam salmon salad. Unfortunately when it first came out, it had wontons in it, but they took it back right away and brought out a new salad immediately. The chef, manager, and server were so kind about everything. I highly suggest checking it out!
Had the pleasure of visiting this place while I was in the Buffalo Grove area. Great casual spot for lunch or dinner with a nice relaxed atmosphere and great service. Large selection of beers and drinks. All the food I had was very good too. Would definitely go back.
