Our first time at Bojangles. I got the chicken sandwich, it was good but Chick-fil-A is much better. My son got basically chicken fingers and mashed potatoes, again it was good but KFC was better.

Got the 2 for $5 sausage biscuit special. Actually, it's a very filling meal. Young lady at the register was very friendly and cheerful. Dining room and bathrooms were clean. Nice, cheap breakfast.

This was my first time at a Bojangles, so I don't know if this is normal, but I didn't love that they announce your order on a (very loud) microphone as you make the order. My dad tells me this was common a few decades ago, but I could've done without it (or at least a warning).
As far as the food, I had the 3pc chicken supreme meal, which was three chicken tenders (and a dipping sauce - I had the ranch), a biscuit, and a side - I had the cajun beans and my dad (who had the 4pc version of the same meal) had the dirty rice. I didn't mind the chicken, though I don't think it's as good as some other fast food chicken places I've been too, mostly because it was kind of dry. The biscuit was the real winner in the meal, though; it was large, moist but not wet, and warm. I liked the cajun beans, though my dad didn't love the dirty rice and said he probably wouldn't get it again.
We wanted to try their sweet potato pies, but they said they hadn't been able to get them in for a while because they weren't allowed to order them. Seemed a bit odd, since they had a big ad in the window for them.
I also had Cheerwine pop with my meal, which is a type of cherry pop that I'd never had before (Google tells me it's a southern brand). It was pretty good! I would probably have it again if the opportunity came up.

Always out of their new Sweet Potato Pie, why? Because they are so delicious and in demand! Love their fried chicken, so much better than KFC. Less Greasy more tasty and crunchy. The price is a little less than KFC too.
