Enjoyed an excellent dinner. I definitely would recommend the lemon cod. Thanks to the great staff for providing a great dining experience.
I moved to Brookville from the Buffalo area, three years ago. The Buffalo area is well known for its numerous fantastic eating establishments, so needless to say I have had a difficult time finding great food and/or great places to eat in this area. I ate dinner here last night. The food, service and the overall ambiance of your restaurant is absolutely wonderful. This is definitely a hidden gem of Brookville.
If you love up class hotels.this is not the place for you. If you love good price,clean rooms and good service. You will love this place. And yes it is old motel. And ever thing is dated.The motel despite it age has been well maintained. Last note the singal rooms are spacious.
Food was awesome. The tray they bring to choose different foods they don't charge.

Older motel but clean and comfortable. I have mobility issues and look for places where I can park right in front of my room. Rates very reasonable, staff very friendly and the restaurant food was excellent. I ordered delivery to the room and everything was piping hot. Would definitely recommend this place, just don't expect the Marriott. I prefer to stay in small private motels.

This place was perfect for what it is-- a quirky, retro roadside motel with personality at a very reasonable price. Yes, the rooms have dated furnishings, worn carpet, and tube TVs. But everything was clean, comfy, and cozy.
Personally, I love this classic style of motel where the rooms are accessed from the exterior (with a real key!) and you park right in front. The windows were big and bright and since you're up on a hill the view is pleasant-- ok, you overlook a gas station, but you can also see some forested mountains and you're set back enough from the road that it's peaceful. We especially loved that we had a screen door in addition to the regular locking door so we could enjoy a nice breeze while relaxing. Great water pressure in the shower too.
The staff were all extremely friendly. They welcomed our (big!) dog for a nominal fee.
The only little nitpicks we can make is that the AC was slightly underpowered and you can smell the cleaning products when you first walk in. Both of these were no big deal thanks to the screen door.
I recently had an extended stay at the Gold Eagle Inn. This quaint 1960 travel lodge welcomes interstate travelers and locals to its wonderful restaurant/motel. Conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations, fast food, laundry and small stores. My pet friendly room was clean and neat, with a comfortable bed, cable TV, Wifi and refrigerator. The bathroom had lots of hot water and a shower/tub with a seat built in. The price was very reasonable and lower than most in the area. Free breakfast included fruit, cereal, oatmeal, granola bars, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The staff and owners always promptly responded to any requests. I would definitely suggest staying in this hotel when in the area.
Travelling in a group. needed 4 rooms. one complaint was one of the rooms was a little musty. not bad enough to request another room. other 3 rooms were clean. Restaurant was great. one of the best meals for all of us after travelling for 5 days. yes I would come back here.
