I came for my friend’s birthday celebration party. The overall experience was good. They have live music and various performances by gymnasts and dancers. It was very unexpectedly to see gymnasts performance, which we enjoyed a lot. Thank you very much! The live music was ok - sometimes I felt like I am in the Soviet Union somewhere in 1980s probably. I would suggest to updating the play list to more recent songs.
The food looked amazing but tasted okay. Honestly speaking, I would expect more flavor in the served dishes.
Overall, the place looks beautiful and atmospheric.

We brought in the New Year at this restaurant. The banquet table was prepared to most of our family and friends liking with a few exceptions and very good service. We enjoyed the show very much with live music and different musical numbers along with the Russian Santa claus who came bearing gifts to all the kids. It was a fun time with good service, I would recommend having a party here with large or small groups. The large screen and the decorations were also very nice.

Not really my kind of thing but definitely something different if you’re not Russian. Large amounts of mediocre food at high prices and you get an acrobatic show and cheesy singing show. Lots of Russians celebrating birthdays and whatever. Fun to try once.

Great atmosphere. Excellent service. The servers covers you with all their attention. You will never feel lonely there. They also have their show on Saturdays.

Exelent service, nice friendly atmosphere. Visited place where we celebrated my nephew birthday. Really liked everything. Hope will again someday. Nothing even close to it San Francisco.

What happened to Russian restaurants? Specifically the flagship restaurant.
Service — not amazing and ruder than ever; plates not changed frequently enough with all the dishes coming out. Alcohol not helped with either. Toilet broken but has a tip jar. Coat check required but with a mandatory fee (on top of the $125 - 250 pp charges).
Music — speakers are terrible, can’t make out the sound; playlist focused on south russian music, even normal songs mixed in with hints of south Russian.
Show — the same 4 women and 1 guy performed dancing acts in various costumes. Not creative at all and quite boring.
Food — food is good, but nothing special for the price point. “Voss” seltzer is recycled with house seltzer (we tagged a bottle and it came back refilled with same broken seal).

We were invited to a birthday party there. We were seated in the part of the room surrounded by guests from many other parties. It is standard in Russian halls but lots of fun as well. Good was great, music nice and wonderful show- entertainment for all. Valley parking available. There was a person or two taking pictures that they were selling after if you chose to buy. We were pressed to leave our jacket in the coat check area only to see later that that did not apply to "native" people - they had their class with them. Not the big deal but I was cold when we arrived and would like to have it on me a bit longer when we arrived.

I sat in the park for several hours watching as an old man walked in ever narrowing circles around a feeble half dead oak tree. I could almost see his thoughts as he finally approached the tree and grasp the egg from the nest that was sitting on a low hanging branch. There holding the blue speckled egg of a robin he felt like a god. He thought he could return the egg to its place and give this bird all the possibilities a life could hold or he could simply drop it to the ground and deny it life itself. Yet he did neither. Instead he turned and threw the egg at a chubby lad who was near by playing with a ribbon. I felt sad both for the lost life of the bird and for the humiliation of the chubby ribbon loving lad. My soul needed warmth and light so I of course thought of the Russian people. I called my friend Sergi "the human VCR" Constov and he pointed me towards the epicenter of New York's Russian culture the Romanoff. The joyous music and hearty food (you must have the fish) restored my faith in humanity. I was so inspired I tracked down the chubby lad and gave him a new bright orange ribbon. I also tracked down the evil old man and gave him a gift card for a free eharmony trial hoping that love would change his evil ways. Thank you Romanoff. Your food and fervor bettered three lives that cold January day.
