Island Pot Restaurant

I had ackee and saltfish with dumplings & callaloo and saltfish with dumplings. Felt like I ordered oil as the main dish but the food was good once I drained the oil from the containers. The portion sizes were good. The restaurant wasn't crowded, 10:00am on a Sunday, and it took about 10 minutes to get everything. They didn't have fried bake. No problems with ordering or with the staff. I would go back but to try their lunch menu.

I've known this place since it was 3D's and it used to be a decent Jamaican spot to go to if I was in the area. Over the years they have fallen off to the point where the food is pretty bad. I ordered this fried chicken dinner and the chicken looks and tastes like it was made yesterday and just left under a heat lamp. It's oily and greasy. The steamed cabbage is brown and tastes stale. The rice was mushy. This has been a horrible experience and I feel like I've been robbed by paying for this "food". I will never patronize this place again. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

I used to like eating here, over time the place is run down and repairs needs to be done. I ordered some food and had to wait for 20 minutes from inside the restaurant. I'm still trying to figure out why the food took so long that was no more than five feet away. The cashier was not professional at all at work in pajamas 🤔🙄. After all that waiting the food wasn't good, mad oily. I love to support local businesses and especially my fellow Caribbean people's, ill have to see renovations from outside for me to walk in

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The king fish was dryer than sandpaper and the food overall was unbearably hot. I had to throw my whole order out because it was too spicy to eat. I am now in bed with a horrible stomachache. This place deserves 0 stars. On the bright side the young light skinned cook is gorgeous!

I got goat roti, chicken rotiand oxtail lunch, It was perfectly made. I loved every bite! However the Jamaicans taking the orders Customer service sucks! And the restaurant looks filthy,cleanliness is definitely not a priority in this location and i will not be returning after seeing how unsanitary it is

The food is great here. However, if Krystal isn't a family member, it would be in the best interest of the owner to let her go!!! She is extremely rude. Talks to you with her back turned, ignores you when she clearly she's you asking a question. This is very poor customer service. I'm done with this place if I must continue dealing with her inappropriate behavior...bad representation of your business.

Today is the first time eating at this restaurant as soon as i enter there was no menu. I then ask the a pregnant girl that was in the front if there is a menu she then started stating what they had with a attitude, usually at this point i would just walk out but i stayed trying to give the restaurant a chance. I just finish work and wanted to get something quick to eat she was talking to the other girl that was serving and putting food in the bag.....She look back at me and say "u can say what u want" with a attitude i told her and waited for my food when my food was finish she place it on the container so i ask is that mines she said yes i took the food and throw it in the trash i was soooo turned OFF ..........I will never in my life go back to this place to spend my money sooo disappointing .....when u try to support restaurant in your area this is what u get!!!!!!!!!!!!!
