Highway Bagels

I love this place and have been going here for 7+ years. Their bagels are delicious and fresh-baked and they have an extensive menu of sweet and savory. They also have sandwiches but I've never tried them. They smell good tho. Their portions are generous and could stuff an entire other bagel. Their staff is friendly and efficient and everyone comes here so you may have to wait in line- but it goes by quickly. Their prices have shot up but that's everywhere and I hope they stay open forever because I cannot live without a bagel place near my home. I know I'm being dramatic but these bagel call for stirring up some drama.

We have been going here for bagels for many years and the prices have just gone up and quality has gone down. Ordered a bagel with butter, grilled cheese with bacon (which barely had anything on it) a coffee and an orange juice (which I found out afterwards was $11) totaling out to $28 which is insanity for a bagel shop. Last time going here.

I love bagels and it's been awhile since I had eaten any. I live really close to this bagel store and decided to pop in one day. They had 3-4 people on staff and one person who was eating their order inside the store. They have a few tables that allows people to eat their food or wait until their order is ready. This was my first time at this location and I was unsure of the ordering process. I waited until someone was free and ordered an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. The bagel itself was okay but, nothing noteworthy. The bagel tasted fresh but, not just baked today fresh. I didn't like how hastily and lopsided the bagel was creamed. I felt like the store was pretty much empty and the staff was basically just talking to each other that they would put more effort into their work. I thought it was an okay bagel for $3. Also, they do charge extra for using a credit card. When I went to pay for my order the guy said there was an extra charge for using a credit card. I placed an order for pick up through Uber Eats. I had ordered 12 bagels (and got 2 free) and they completely messed up my order. I ordered 2 plain and 12 whole wheat everything bagels. I got 5 plain bagels and 9 random bagels (only one was an everything bagel and not even whole wheat). I felt like if they ran out of bagels, they could have waited until I got there or at least me know when I got there. Again, when I went to pick up my order the entire store was completely empty and the store was fully staffed (at least 4 people behind the counter chatting with each other). The bagels were also the same as before tasty but, not exactly freshly daily baked. They also sell sandwiches, hot food such as wings, smoothies, and brand name beverages.

I've been here 5 times 2 times my order had been lost, eventually I had to wait for 1 hour to get 1 bagel 2 times the order had been messed up 1 time everything went smooth It all would've been fine if there was at least minimal communication. There is either no one to ask the status of the order, or they look at you and pretend to be too busy to answer your question Upd. Just checked my last order, they didn't put lox in lox bagel lol this place is such a joke

AVOID THIS PLACE!! I hoped reviews were wrong. I went to order a chicken cutlet sandwich, with bacon on a roll, which was btw $13!!! What a scam. I domt mind paying $13 for a good sandwich but this was absolute trash, the chicken was hard like cardboard, and it just tasted bad in general. It should be illegal to charge this much for a sandwich this bad :( so upset, was hungry and looking forward to eat. AVOID AVOID
