My husband and I celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary here and it was great. The food was excellent, the short ribs melted in our mouths. The butternut squash was out of this world. The staff was very helpful in recommending drinks to pair with our meal. Overall very positive dining experience.
Don't be fooled by the name. This is not your typical Grilled Cheese sandwich joint. The sandwiches here are unique and delicious. The owners have given new meaning to what you can put between the bread..and that's just for a start...go there for dinner and sample their one-of-a-kind small plates like a Duck Meatball or a whole beautiful cooked fish along with an interesting wine and beer selection.
I hesitate to use the word Asian Fusion because the menu items are so unique and so tasty here, they are incredible! I went with 3 other friends and we ordered a bunch of dishes to share, which is what the waitress recommended. There was not one thing that we didn't all love. I highly recommend the string beans and brussel sprouts, those were two of my favorite.

If you’re looking for a place to get unique, farm-to-table sandwiches, Brooklyn Sandwich Society is your place. The new eatery comes from Andres and Melissa, the co-runners of the Brooklyn Edible Social Club, one of the coolest supper clubs in Brooklyn. The duo decided they could reach more people with a restaurant, so they left their supper club behind and took things to the next level.
I ordered ”The Grand,” or pan-fried squid, baby bok choy, cilantro, and hot and sour glaze on ciabatta. I had never had squid on a sandwich but loved the chewy, meaty squid juxtaposed with the soft bread and slightly crunchy baby bok choy. Along with sandwiches, Brooklyn Sandwich Society serves up small plates like pan-fried veal sweetbreads, grilled polenta cake, and my pick, the steamed wild mussels in a garlic broth, served with fried bread.
Absolutely YUM.
Unique cider choice. Nine point. One of my new favorites. Waitress was a doll. Definitely coming back to eat even though I saw no bacon anywhere on the menu.
I have reservations about fusion restaurants but Martha does it well! Food is not just inventive—it has the deliciousness to match.
