Cafe Dushanbe

My family didn’t like it here but man.. i had the time of my life here. im a HUGE foodie and this place is one of my favorite restaurants. my waiter was a young man who barely spoke english and my menu was not english but when the help of google search, i ordered a whole lot of food and left the place as happy as happy can be. the plov is A MUST. great portions and it’s the best rice i’ve ever had in my life. the kebabs are the best i’ve ever had in my life. the bagel bread and homemade butter was freshly made and warm. just absolutely delish! the potatoes and mushrooms were the best i ever had in my life. i just wanted to give the chef a hug. the bottled foreign drinks had no sugar but i’m just hearing that they have homemade fruit punch so i must go back when this pandemic is over but i just wish they had waiters that spoke english. besides that, i’m in love with this place and i will come back again!! the waiter was so patient with us so thank you!!

Great place! Food is excellent, service is outstanding, big plates, nice prices - what else to expect from a cafe. Atmorphere inside is very picturesque, oriental design, very nice, the room is not that big, nor small. They speak russian and have russian menu as well. Highly recommend! Thank you, guys, for the pleasant experience. Definitely will be back one day.

Our group ate family style. We tried a number of dishes all delicious. Uzbeki, Korean, Turkish style full of taste. I especially loved the dumplings and lamb dishes, the fried liver cubes and some of the salads. If you drink alcoholic drinks you may be disappointed since they follow their religion and I respect that. I am not a drinker so not an issue with me.
