Cozy, unsuspecting restaurant that serves great food! Owner is attentive and service is wonderful! Came here for a little family gathering and everyone left happy with full bellies and a newfound love for Burmese food. Definitely not your typical Asian restaurant with non-descript food. Excellent food, great price, and overall wonderful experience!

This is my second time having Burmese food and I have to say it’s pretty good. The flavors are similar to Thai food I would say.
The restaurant is a little out of the way to get to unless you live around the area. It’s a small restaurant and it’s one of those mom and pop places so it had a pretty homey feel.
They give you tea to drink like at a chinese restaurant or at dim sum. We ordered the tea leaf salad, coconut noodle soup, si jet, and samosas. I heard the tea leaf salad is something that is essential in Burmese food so we had to get it. It was pretty flavorful. There’s a lot of peanuts in it so if you’re allergic or don’t like it then stay away. It comes with a bowl of rice which is good because it’s a little too much by itself. My friend got the coconut noodle soup and it was pretty good too. Similar to Thai curry I would say. The si jet had chicken and dry garlic with some cabbage I think and a red sauce. It was pretty good. Not too spicy. The samosas were good. Nothing special but not bad. They are pretty spicy I would say so if you can’t handle spice then don’t go for it. My friend also got their Burmese iced tea. It had a good tea flavor. Definitely check this place out if you’ve never had Burmese food or want to try!

Burmese cuisine and sushi together. My favorite coconut soup with noodles and herbs provides an example of the Burmese flavor profile. Try tart papaya, tomato, cabbage and noodle salads and choose from an array of tasty meat, fish and vegetable curries. Friendly atmosphere. Family owned and run. Say hello to Oscar, his wife and their daughters.

Ordered delivery here and everything was delicious. First time trying Burmese food. I got the tea leaf salad (Le Phet Thoke) and Mohinga and they had very interesting flavors but very tasty. I would order from them again.

I came here because of the New York Times recommendation. In my opinion, the must-try thing is not any dish but the spicy comes with the dish: it is extremely hot and spicy. If you don not put spicy on it, it is a typical Asian dish that you can expect: once you add them up, it is a TOTALLY different. I am not a fan of hot and spicy but the spicy in their restaurant is worth a try.

One of the finest Burmese cuisines I've eaten.
I want to say, first of all, I love the interior design of this restaurant. It's very beautiful and it truly radiates the concept of Burmesian style!~
Second of all, I love the tea they provided with us! The flavor was really unique and delicious, different from other standard restaurant tea.
Thirdly, the food was hands down amazing. I ordered the Kyay Oh with flat noodles, and since I'm Chinese, I ate a lot of flat noodles before, but NOTHING like this. They gave me a sauce to the side to complement my noodle soup, and they both fit together so well, like two peas in a pod. It was absolutely delicious, and it made me appreciate Burmese cuisine.
My friend ordered Burmese fried noodles with Pork, and it was delicious as well!
The food was inexpensive, fast, and delicious. Will definitely come again!

Their coconut noodle soup is my absolutely favorite. Flavorful, rice, absolutely delicious. If you dip the fried onions in there, it’s heavenly. Their chicken curry, pork belly curry are also delicious and come with their homemade chili (which goes great with it but so spicy!) Highly recommend.

came here to get takeout fish chowder, and it was quite delicious. The soup was pre-made and the noodles were quickly packaged as well, but the food was very tasty. The flavors were really strong and bold, and I could taste the fish flavor as well as the fish bits. It was also a bit spicy, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Price is a bit steep for the amount of food though at $8 post-tax.

Food is delicious. I always get a Sijet to go with all my meals. People are very nice here. If you can't handle any spice, I'd check with the server before ordering :)
