Food is consistently well-prepared with quality ingredients. I usually have my food delivered or pickup at the restaurant. Management is friendly and know my family for many years.

update— maybe something changed but i decided to try this place again and the food is excellent. changing my review from 2 stars to 5!
old review— if you’re ordering just for their general tsos chicken, look elsewhere. I understand restaurants tend to make their general tso’s sauce less spicy for the general population, which is why I asked for extra spice. despite the instructions, the sauce was still plainly sweet and lacking its’ spicy counterpart. they didn’t include broccoli either, which is part of the dish. also, no flavor in the pork fried rice despite it looking appetizing.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. The food is delicious. The fish I got was melting in my mouth. The egg drop soup was very rich in flavor. Love the atmosphere as well, beautifully decorated place. Definitely recommend.

if you want to eat raw oysters i can recommend this place to you. My wife ordered a pinoclad cocktail and she loved it. The waiters were polite and provided good service.

The best BEST CHINESE Restaurant in bklyn ny and in the the NYC area can not find anything near better than Jimmy's New Ruan's Restaurant. I live on LI and there is nothing here that's even close. I still travel to Ruan's!!!

The food is a hit or miss with this place. I normally order chicken and broccoli. Some days it’s great other times the chicken tastes old & rubbery. The fried rice is pretty bland too which is surprising for the amount of ingredients they put into the rice.

The place is so beautiful inside clean friendly the food we had was delicious and duck I tasted from my step dad plate was the best duck I ever had. I sure will be returning again.
