Have loved this bakery and M. Gus since they opened. Today, Alex did us a genuine Christmas miracle though by going above and beyond: a) being open, b) helping me arrange an uber to pickup some baguettes that my dumb a*s forgot yesterday, and c) being totally cool and cheerful about it. So hat's off to Alex, Gus, and the L'Imprimerie team.

Very nice environment. Basic cafe set up. Staff was very pleasant with a warm welcome. So helpful and thrilled to have me back as soon as possible. I was looking for a French patisserie or ship and was happy to find one via google whiting my area that’s not to far away from where I was at the time. I was delighted to have gotten a mini baguette which was delicious with every bite.

I don’t want to incite the anger of the owner who seems to clap back on negative reviews, so I held off on reviewing for years. I really do love the pastries and bread at this bakery — only occasionally are the pastries too burnt — and appreciate the craft and expertise put into all their products. (The high cost makes some sense.) Their bread is out of this world. I have been going regularly for years. My issue with L’imprimerie is the attitude of the staff. I’m often treated with disdain, impatience, and dismissiveness. Expecting a tip to give someone a loaf of bread with a side of a grimace or a glare — not my cup of tea. I really wish the culture would change a little, given the bakery’s apparent continued success and special place in Ridgewood life, but it hasn’t. Occasionally I encounter a civil and patient worker, but it’s not the rule. I can promise you I’m efficient and easy to understand (I am a teacher!) — just shopping while being a minority, I guess. Please take this as earnest feedback.

20230927 - Was recommended to try the croissants However , found them to be too flaky and lacked a fluffy core Perhaps a different expression of croissant

This Bakery is a 💎. It is located between Bushwick and Ridgewood. It is very close to Public Transportation and definitely worth a trip. They have some outside seating. It isn't a big place but it's not super small neither. They have a nice variety of items, including vegan ones and items you might not find so easily in other bakeries. I took home 2 Cherry Clafoutis, which I hadn't seen in other bakeries. My mom and I loved it. It was one of the best desserts we ever had. I'm not from the neighborhood but I will definitely go back to get more of their treats.

Atmosphere - 5/5 Food - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Value - 4/5 I wanted to give a 5 for food, particularly if the quiche was moved a little further away from the top heating element when baking and not so charcoaly on top

Awesome bakery with a very hip vibe! The place attracts younger folks in their 30s and 40s who love to have a French bakery in the gentrified Bushwick neighborhood. Their ham and cheese croissants are to die for as are their almond croissants. The freshly baked bread is delicious and the parmesan cheese bread is decadent. The millionaires bar is luxurious and a must have to relieve stress, lol!

Cookies were amazing as was the sugary spiral pastry. Unfortunately, I didn’t think the croissants were that great. They were a bit over baked :/

L’imprimerie is truly gem! I am so lucky to have this place in my neighborhood. Everything they make is top notch. They have a lot of vegan options as well, which is a plus for someone like me who cannot eat dairy. Some of my favorite items include the vegan quiche, the olive bread, and the vegan chocolate almond croissant.

One of the best croissants I've ever had in my life. It was freshly baked in house that morning and had a tiny, almost unnoticeable amount of sweetened egg wash on top. Croissant was small and was lightly doughy on the inside and had a crisp outside. Quiche was pretty good too. They have a lot of vegan options of you're into that but the regular pastries are made with real butter baby Drop coffee is really bad though.
