Trad Room

Trad Room has been my regular date night spot with my boyfriend for the last 2 years or so! They have really great food - definitely go for the Nanban chicken, the spicy salmon bowl (off menu now, but they’ve made it every time I’ve ordered since!), and the STA bowl. The vibe is also fantastic. You can get a little dressed up if you want, but you can also look casual and not feel judged. The only potential negative is that the tables are very close together, but if you’re a big eavesdropper like me, this is kind of the best entertainment (it’s a huge first date spot and we’ve overheard some insane conversations). They also have v fun cocktails. Overall, the best neighborhood spot for a date night!!

This one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. The menu s unique and I've never had a bad bite to eat here. They have everything from sushi to oysters and it's all incredible. The vibes are perfect for a date. The cocktails are also incredible. It's a step up from most sushi spots but definitely worth every penny.

Trad Room is one of my favorite places to dine at. Not only that, I love bringing my family and friends who visit from out of state to here. It’s the perfect spot! The food is AMAZING. The service is friendly — like you’re visiting an old friend. The interior just makes it so cozy that you feel right at home. Definitely a must visit spot!

The customer service was great. The atmosphere was relaxed. I had the fried brussel sprouts and a combination of crispy and spicy tuna roll. They were all tasty and did not disappoint at all. The passion fruit whiskey sour is a must try. There is sitting for those wanting to have an intimate setting and a bar area for those looking for a more social vibe.

We were accepted on a very busy Sunday night were the place was packed and walk ins like us were risking rejection- we were lucky! The serving staff were busy getting things done very well and very smoothly - I missed interacting with them though. Despite this the food was very quickly served and we must say this was the best meal we’ve had all week - even though we have had some excellent meals! This place was pretty busy on a Sunday night and boy did it turn out to be a good sign! We ordered a bunch of starters and rolls, everything was top notch, high quality and delicious. One thing that stood out was the quality of fish used in the rolls. Shoutout to the Karaage fried chicken, the pork belly, and crispy spicy tuna roll and the yellowtail tuna scallion roll. A very filling dinner for two came out to 82$ (excl. tip). Can’t wait to go back and if you haven’t tried this place yet, you really should. Peace out
