We came here as newbies to the neighborhood and very much stumbled upon one of the best sushi places we have had! Service was so lovely and food was incredible.

I’ve only ordered food to-go from Sushi Yashin and I ordered it 4 days in a row, so I hope that sums up my review for the most part.
The Spicy Girl roll is tasty and delicious with fresh tuna and jalapeno for a kick. The Apollo roll is tempura shrimp with some sort of mayo on top. The Rainbow roll has different fish on top like tuna, salmon, and yellowtail—if you’re looking for one roll with variety, this is the one I’d recommend.
As for the normal rolls, can’t go wrong with a basic California roll.
We will definitely be back and hopefully for dine-in so we can try it at its freshest!

This is an amazing sushi place. You can go and have an awesome experience at the counter, eat your weight in fish (I highly recommend the hand rolls) and get drinks for 2 for less than 100 bucks. It’s the best.

Sweet atmosphere, calm, a nice place to visit! Friendly service, VERY fresh and flavorful fish, especially the yellowtail and tuna. Served beautifully- they put wasabi into the rolls/nigiri directly, so you do have to request that it be on the side if that’s not your thing.

Live in the neighborhood and this is by far the best quality sushi place. I usually order pickup but decided to dine in by the counter. Got the sushi sampler which was amazing. The yellowfin is soooo good.

Had the pleasure of being served by the owner of the restaurant. The place was packed and he was incredibly speedy but was still able to serve top notch sushi with a sprinkle of very personable conversation.

Had an amazing experience with Chef Joe! Quality was great and the prices were really fair! Definitely will visit again when I go back to Brooklyn
