It doesn't get any better! The red velvet cake was hands down the absolute best that I've ever tasted. If you're in Brooklyn this place is definitely a must!

It's my favorite place to get cakes. The cake is so and yummy. They even do even do specialized cake the design the taste and my fav are any of the velvet red, blue green name love it
The cake was yummy. It's moist with great flavors. We got red velvet and yellow cake. Definitely recommend you try this place out
Wow wow wow! Upon entering this place it smelled so heavenly. Just like fresh cakes and cupcakes being pulled out of the oven at that very moment. The owner was gracious enough to offer me a free dozen cupcakes to pick up for my friends birthday as we were visiting from GA and I found them on Yelp. I couldn't just part with cupcakes as the display case screamed my name. I had the yellow cake with chocolate frosting, one friend had cookies and cream cake while another had the pineapple upside down cake slice. All were superb. The Red Velvet cupcakes were definitely my favorite as I'm a Southern girl ❤️ Just missing pecans.
Had an amazing experience here! We met Anastasia (Annie) who was the absolute sweetest. She went in detail about their different selections of cakes and cupcakes AND you get a free slice on your first visit! Their pistachio and red velvet cupcakes are out of this world. I’ve gotten cakes and cupcakes from Doc’s. Sometimes I ordered a custom cake in advance and other times I just went and picked something up. Regardless of what I got, it was always delicious. Doc’s doesn’t mess around when it comes to flavor and texture. I’ve never been disappointed.
I just know I gained about 15 lbs in two days! So a friend of mine told me about this place and I decided to try it out for the first time since I was in BK. I purchased a slice of red velvet, lemon, strawberry, and carrot cake! It was so freaking good, I came all the way back from CT to get another slice of lemon, red velvet, Oreo, and banana pudding!
The blue velvet is AMAZING!! Like, absolutely the best cake I've ever had. It's like silk 😭😭. Had to buy two slices, wanted to get more but I'm trying not to be greedy! I highly recommend. They do enforce social distancing and you re required to wear a mask. Also, no more than three patrons are allowed inside at a time.
They accept cash and cards, (only chip and $10.00 minimum). Slices start at $6.00.
Hidden bakery gem! A friend recommended this bakery and it did not disappoint! The red velvet cake was moist and not overly sweet with a good cake to frosting balance!! Looking forward to trying other flavors.
My boss lives in Bed-Stuy and insisted I come here to try the red velvet cake. I wasn’t too keen on trekking out to Crown Heights, so I put off coming here for a few months. I finally finally found myself in the area today and swing by for some cake and banana pudding. Both were excellent - the red velvet cake was oil-based and super moist and decadent, cream cheese frosting not too sweet, and the banana pudding was made just the way it should be with huge chunks of nilla wafers. Don’t come here expecting to have your mind blown, but do come for reliable, above average cake slices.
Coming from SC it's hard to find good cake in NY. The cakes were moist, fresh, and delicious. The banana pudding was AMAZING. Every time I'm in BK I'm dropping by. It's only right.
