We ended up checking this place out during their Cask Beer Festival. The bar itself was great although I didn't care for the beer I tried. There were many to try so I'm sure there were others that were better but we were in a hurry.

This is a typical sports bar that's pretty divey but they have a backyard that makes the place worth hanging out at if you're looking for more than a place to have a quick drink.

this place is great if you are lookning for a relaxed place to have a beer and talk.the bar tenders are very nice and they know a lot about each beer, so if you dont know anything about beer they will teach you a recommend one from their great variety. it is a new orleans influenced bar. this makes it better with good blues and a very friendly atmosphere. the decoration is also awesome, the mural in the terrace and the bathroom's paintings are awesome!!

Tchoup Shop has the best soul food I've found in NYC.

Crowd can be thin at times, but the beer selection is worth checking out. (Wear your glasses to read the menu, though.) The southern food they cook on weekends us worth trying, too.
