I ordered a cake from the gallery pics and asked for a custom color. I cake came out absolutely beautiful and flawless. The cake was also very delicious. I have to say customer service was really awesome and welcoming into the production kitchen where everyone was busy creating some amazing cakes as I got to see while there. I traveled three hours with the cake and it held up great. My client also didn’t get around to cutting into the cake until the next day so it sat out in a cool place and was perfect when cut into. She was extremely complementary on how beautiful and tasty it was! Awesome and thank you for all your hard work!

Went in there to check it out with my lady after finding out it was black owned. We were welcomed by a lady who was friendly and professional. I forgot her name. She gave me and my lady a complimentary cupcake Mines was a blue velvet and her’s was lemon. She enjoyed hers and I just ate mines. It was great. Not too sweet. We also got cake jars (I got strawberry). Can’t wait to try it. I would come back again. Some may find the food to be pricey. We didn’t. You pay good money for good food. Support black.

This review is based off my initial interaction with the staff. The reason I am rating them a 4 is because of J who assisted me. When I went into the location to place my order, I was greeted by one of the staff, she was very unwelcoming and her demeanor was not inviting and she appeared like she did not want to explain anything. She did not leave a great first impression at all. Another staff came to assist me, her name was J (not sure of the spelling, it could be Jae.) She really made the sale because she was very attentive. She took her time, she showed me the various options on the computer, and she engaged with my daughter. Such a kind an amazing person. She provided great customer service. Thank you J!

I’m speechless I stumbled upon this gem heaven on earth from searching Google for a birthday cake for my daughter first birthday… I can’t believe how lucky and blessed I was finding this place by accident … Amazjng job on her cake is an understatement! And in my opinion there prices are extremely reasonable especially for the 5 star quality that you will be getting ! This place made my day and almost made me cry in a good eat when I saw my daughters cake

I was born and raised in Brooklyn. Basquiat and Biggie are on my apartment walls. I grew up understanding the impact they had on the culture and on me especially. Imagine my joy when I saw that BCAKE NY had a Basquiat Cake and Biggie Cookies...are they in my head and heart? I knew I had to have it for my birthday and it was absolutely PERFECT. I had the Hennessey flavored cake which was delish. The cake could've been a little more moist but not a huge issue. I can't emphasize how perfect this was for me and it truly made my day. I will be ordering from here again and again. I may have to get the Basquiat cake again as well. Thank you for making my birthday cake vision come to life. It was a work of art!
