Palermo's is the best. Been going to them since we moved into the neighborhood. They are a staple in the neighborhood. They support and give back to the community. Breads are baked daily, cakes are delicious. Love them.

Best Authentic Italian pastry shop in Brooklyn - Hands down!!! Enzo and Josefine Politi, the founders and owner operators, moved to Brooklyn from Palermo Sicily, Italy, are in their 70s and STILL go in everyday and predicament oversee and bake everything their.
I used to go there as a kid... weekly... i recently went back and it's even better!!! If you find yourself anywhere near this place, go in!!!

Maybe the best Italian bakery in Brooklyn. Certainly the absolute finest on Ave N! If you want a bland sugar-bomb, go to those other places. But if you want the best cakes, cookies, pastries and special treats, Palermo's the place for you. And they have the most authentic (and tasty) spritzel's you'll find anywhere in multiple varieties.

The best bakery in the world, hands down. Now, I haven't been all over the world, but I'm still confident in saying that. Or maybe it's just because I'm fat and their stuff is delicious. Whatever, the place rocks and is what I compare every other bakery to. Get a spritzel with custard filling, some rainbow cookies, a black and white, and a half gallon of milk, take your shirt off and bamm, you got yourself a party.
