In New York, this is one of the rare spots where you can savor a coffee, browse through architectural books, enjoy a display by a local artist or designer, and find the perfect gift for your design-savvy friend — all under one roof.

The most zen space in Dumbo with Japanese vibe and artistic design. They serve great selection of teas, pastries and lunch. The service is very friendly, the charming barista Andrey made the best ever matcha latte for me, so fluffy. You can tell they use very high grade quality matcha powder. A must visit when in Dumbo.

Pretty good and unique place. I liked it. The coffee was good. I just think we need to denormalize how much ice they put in iced coffee. The coffee is already cold just add couple of ice cubes. Not only them but I need to start saying this over and over.

Usagi is Dumbo and Dumbo is Usagi. It is a perfect matcha made just right; it is a Barista speaking fluent Japanese; only an hour gap for delicious Japanese lunch also made so right; a tiny gallery featuring artists from all over the world; a very Brooklyn gift shop & one of a kind bookstore. A must stop if you want to know what Dumbo really is.

Usagi has the best matcha lattes and so many other delightful Japanese teas! I’ve tried a few different ones and they’re always prepared perfectly. I had their food for the first time this trip and everything was flavorful and delicious. I loved the little side salad that came with the rice balls, such a nice compliment to the dish. I really love the concept of this place, how it’s also part art gallery and part bookstore. It’s so fun to see different art installations when I visit. I picked a fascinating sci-fi novel by a Japanese author there a few months ago and it was a great read. It was exciting since it was published by a smaller press and I’d never seen it in bookstores before. All in all, I highly recommend this place!

This is definitely my top 3 cafe in New York. I happened to stop by while in Brooklyn and this place is the perfect combination of art gallery X cafe X bookstore. Calm environment with friendly staff. It also hosts auctions for the artists it features. What a hidden gem!

After having been to literally hundreds of coffee shops in NYC I found a new favorite, didn't think it was possible. But this place is killer. Absolutely love the aesthetic and the coffee is great. Also a cafe, gallery , and design store all in one: absolute dream business model.
