Unique menu. I absolutely loved everything I got. The scallops were cooked to perfection, drinks were great and the ambiance was intimate but not crowded.

Keep in mind they do often change their menu! They no longer offer brunch - now it is strictly a lunch menu. Reservations are recommended, especially if you plan on going on the weekends.
Cocktails on tap were great. They make their own yuzu syrup. They also make mocktails and other nonalcoholic drinks.
We order 3 apps to share and got three sandwiches for lunch. Would recommend the Japanese Milk Bread with yuzu butter. The chicken sando sandwich was very crispy. The Waygu burger was super rich.
Things to keep in mind:
- Not a ton of vegan options
- They have an outdoor patio backyard with heating and also outdoor dining in the front.
- High chairs for the little ones are also available
- Bathrooms are small and don’t have changing tables. But they do have fancy Japanese toilets.
- If you have a nut allergy, your choice of dishes will be cut in half.

Unique french and Japanese fusion. We recommend ordering, 2-3 plates per person and sharing everything family style.
The Duck Rillettes with Wasabi foam steals the show early on. The scallops were our personal favorite skewer plate.
Between the duck, pork belly, and beef tongue, this was a rich meal; so we absolutely insist on ordering the breakfast radishes in ume butter. The crisp, clean, bright and refreshing radishes do an excellent job of balancing out the fullness of the meat dishes.
This cuisine is striving for greatness and its well worth return trips.

I. Love. Maison. Yaki. Delicious food, amazing service, and great ambience. Sit at the bar and chat with the chefs if you can, it absolutely adds to the experience! I loved watching them make our food and talk about their upcoming specials. Super talented folks in that kitchen. My favorites were the Duck L’orange, Duck Rillete, Scallop skewers, and oyster mushroom skewers. They have fantastic cocktails too! Definitely recommend.

Always a beautiful time. Their back patio is super well heated for the middle of winter, and their servers are very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. Service is unbelievably fast.
Incredibly interesting, well-prepared food that doesn't break the bank but is just nice enough for an Occasion. Don't sleep on the french radishes. I know it sounds weird to be recommending raw radishes but they really are one of the best dishes here. The short rib and pork belly skewers are also absolutely incredible, as well as the japanese milk bread. The only dish I would not recommend is the duck skewers - a little overspiced for my taste.
Perfect restaurant. Don't change a thing. Hope they're around forever.

Really cute place with interesting and exquisite food. We three girls ordered 7 dishes for sharing and it was a good portion if you are not super hungry. The oyster mushrooms, scallop skewers and escargot were our favorite. The sauce for the pork belly was a bit hard to describe but not the best to go with pork I would say. Frog leg tempura is a nice invention but the batter was flavourful so kind of steal the taste of the frog meat. Brussel sprouts okonomiyaki is fine, could seasoned the sprouts a bit instead of just relying on the sauce on the top. Overall it’s definitely a place I would recommend but one other note is the dishes are a bit salty without bread and they don’t give bread. So I would recommend order a side bread to go with the dishes.

A delightful take on blending Japanese and French cuisine.
Beef Tongue Sando. The bread was light and crispy. The tongue was slightly gamey, but the sauces provide the creamy tang that brings the dish together.
Brussel Sprouts Okonomiyaki. My favorite dish in this review. Batter is light, the vegetables provide the crunch. Brussel Sprouts provide that smokey flavor. Sauce is on point.
Duck a l’Orange Skewer. Great bar food. A tad salty. The citrus-y sauce blends well with the oiliness of the duck.
Pork Belly Skewer. My least favorite in this review. Well cooked, just too salty.
Scallops & Sauce Maltaise Skewer. Light and refreshing. Cooked well. Can’t go wrong with this one.
Profiteroles. Pastry, ice cream, and matcha cream. Can’t go wrong here.

We enjoyed a few small bites here on a Saturday during lunchtime. We ordered the Japanese milk bread with yuzu butter, grilled pork belly skewers, and the duck rillette with wasabi. The Japanese milk bread is sliced thick, nicely toasted, and served with an ungodly amount of yuzu butter that you then use to slather all over it on all sides. The Yuzu butter is a bit citrusy but more on the savory side, and it complements the milk bread super well. It is also topped with chives which adds to the savoriness. The duck rillette Comes with some nice thick slices of toasted bread and is topped with a creamy wasabi sauce. The wasabi flavor is actually quite light contrary to what I assumed. The duck rillette Is very soft, tender, fatty, and rich. And lastly, the pork belly skewers were melt in your mouth tasty with a slightly smoky flavor. The sauce that it came with was also very addictive, a little bit savory and a little bit sweet and definitely smoky. I would love to come back and try the other things on the menu when we are going to be eating more!

Delicious. They take care of the allergies or dietary restrictions you may have and explain what you can eat from the menu. I tried a lot of the veggies and they were delicious. The carrots were some of the best ones I've had in my life and everything else was really good. Will come back!

LOOOOOVE. When I can get a seat in this much loved and crowded restaurant it makes my night. Small tapas inspired by Japanese and French fusion. The fact that I had deep fried tempura frog legs and loved it really speaks to the quality of this place. (also the frog legs come on a ceramic lily pad plate) Cannot praise it enough. And the cocktails on draft are wonderful, my go to is the manhattan.
