I've gotten the cheesesteak before, and it was phenomenal. I grew up in the south Jersey area, and my dad was from Philly.
I got the scrapple sandwich, and this is the ONLY place in NYC that still sells scrapple at all!!
And it was everything I could've hoped for and more ❤️. Perfectly crispy and sweet with the maple syrup! I got mine without hot sauce, and did prefer it that way. LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!!!!!
Btw - the cheese sauce with the fries was incredible as well. Super thick and cheesy, fries were crispy and delicious.

This place definitely holds its on as a Philly staple. Easily just as good if not better than some of Philly’s staple cheesesteak spots!
Hands down the best Philly Cheesesteak in NY!!! This can compete with any of the big names in Philadelphia and easily one my best cheesesteak experiences I've had in my life.
best cheese steak in NYC. As a warning don't plan on doing anything productive after, or at least give yourself a good buffet haha. Definitely expensive though.
Easily one of the best cheesesteaks I've had. Their original with whiz and onions was perfect. American cheese was good too, but go with whiz. Ratios were slam dunk. Soft, chewy sesame roll, gooey cheese and tender steak in ample supply. Can't wait to go back.
Okay, so I love all things food and I tend not to be picky at all. My scale can confirm this. With that said this sandwich was really good. It definitely hits that cheese steak craving without having to drive to Philly. HOWEVER, I've eaten better in Philly hands down. And to charge $20 for a cheese steak sandwich?!?! Definitely not worth it to come back anytime soon. Good to experience once and then make it at home! And as the pics will show greasy as all hell bring a roll of paper towels!
Amazing roast pork sandwich! I've tried to get the roast pork before and they were sold out. Comes with dipping liquid that really elevates everything. Must try spot!
A Philadelphia gem in Brooklyn. Expect exceptional hoagie bread and lunch and breakfast offerings. It’s hard to say what’s best here, for me it’s a tie between the roast pork and the pork roll breakfast sandwich.
Make sure you get their earlier in the day if you want roast pork as it will sell out. The cheesesteak is chopped which I prefer and is tender, if you go provolone like me be warned that it’s low in salt. If you go wiz you won’t have a salt issue. This place is freaking legit, go there and discover the wonders of hoagies
One of my favorite lunch spots. The sandwiches are massive, and quite expense if you get the large size. However, every day they have a lunch special where they discount one of their sandwiches. This is the way to do it without killing your lunch budget. My favorite is definitely the cheesesteak. In my opinion it's the best I've ever had and better than what I've had in Philly. The classic Italian I found really good too. The roast pork is good of course, but these other sandwiches should be given a chance as well.
Solid Philly cheese steak but not as good as the best in Philly. I wish the cheese wasn't on the outside so that a lot of it came off on the wrapper. The roast pork sandwich was super tender but the flavor was a bit bland and porky. I really enjoyed the broccoli rabe on it. The fries are really crispy and tasty. There's seating in the form of stools along both sides of the wall. Service is friendly and prompt.
