If you’re looking for a cute little spot to eat some authentic Mexican food, this is it! The tacos were good and so was the tortilla soup and let me not forget that delicious and fresh guacamole!!! The only thing that I didn’t really like was the michelada. Overall, it’s a spot that I would go back to.

After leaving an event me and my friend looked up Mexican spots in the area and this one came up. Outer decor is pretty nice and inside definitely is cozy. We sat at the bar, wish there was more leg room since my knee was hitting the bar since it's not wide to really have your legs under. It took a bit till we were attended to. The food was pretty good and the drink definitely had a kick to it.

I visited Pedro's after having fun with friends at Beat the Bomb. We worked up an appetite and Pedro's was the perfect place! We did not make reservations, but the staff is very friendly and understanding. We were able to get a table for a group of 7 in under 30 minutes. I ordered the birria tacos. Other's around my table ordered the tilapia tacos, the steak with beans and rice, and the empanadas. We also shared calamari and nachos. For dessert, we had churros with ice cream and sweet plantains with ice cream. I would recommend EVERYTHING but the sweet plantains with ice cream. The ice cream was a hit, the sweet plantain not so much. The restaurant also accommodated two of my vegan friends. So vegan lovers are also welcome! Not only is the food great but the setting is awesome. There's music playing in the background while you eat/ The music is soft enough for you to speak with everyone at your table and loud enough for you to break into karaoke and sing along with everyone at the restaurant (which actually happened with us). At the end of our stay, we were able to write messages on currency and staple it to a wall display of messages written on the currency. I say this to say that I did more than just eat, I had an experience! It was a great night and I would recommend anyone who loves authentic Mexican food to visit when they're in the area.

The food here is SO good. I highly recommend the pork chimichanga, and definitely an order of chips and salsa. The margaritas are super strong though, so order with caution (two may have been a bit too many) service can be a little confusing. One time I went and they seated us, and other time is was seat yourself. There's also two separate menus, which was quite confusing the first time I went. Overall though, very good food and a great place to bond over a (strong) drink.

Food was very good. Stopped in for a small bite. Only ordered a few appetizers coca cola and sangria. The sangria was very good. The sweet fried plantains with shrimp and cheese was awesomely delicious. The $10 guacamole and chips was soso except for the chips were super soggy and soft and the portion of guacamole was so small I would recommend it only for one person not for sharing. The empanadas were so light and airy the first bite was all air/bread and not meat. Too bad they should charge more and give more. For $65 3 appetizers and 2 drinks was not really worth it. Service was good and friendly. They asked for vaccination cards and we're patient with us while we searched for our cards on the Ny app. Luckily we found our proof of vaccination otherwise we would have been denied service. If you don't have a vaccination card you will starve to death. You are better off crossing the southern border instead of eating without a vaccine card in a NYC restaurants it's easier. Nothing makes sense anymore. I feel bad for businesses that are still open because they are forced to walk on hot coals barefoot and backwards naked through a cornfield. I would recommend this restaurant. Pedro's is a good Mexican restaurant. Everything tasted good but a bit cheap on the portion sizes. The sangria tasted very nice and fresh and potent. The empanadas were tasty but skimpy lacking substance the filling inside was not enough. The fried sweet banana was very delicious my favorite dish today. The decor of the restaurant seemed nice and original. The restaurant is a bit small but nice and clean looking. The employees were good and professional. the area is gentrified and a bit pricey. Come hungry and leave happy. Try everything it is good and fresh. Everything that was ordered came and tasted well. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. Parking is terrible in the area good luck.

Very lovely place, the food is outstanding. The fried calamari is a must eat, it's juicy and crispy. Very friendly and helpful servers, explain all the menus in detail.

Title: "A Culinary Adventure in the Heart of DUMBO" Review: Pedro's Restaurant in DUMBO truly lives up to its longstanding reputation of serving delectable Mexican cuisine. Having experienced their steak Fajita, I can attest to the freshness and authenticity of their dishes. Served sizzling hot with a delightful mix of peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro, accompanied by rice, black beans, guacamole, and tortillas, it was a hearty meal that satisfied every bite. Choosing to dine al fresco allowed me to immerse myself in the bustling atmosphere of DUMBO. Observing the constant stream of tourists and visitors added a layer of charm to an already memorable dinner. The combination of flavorful food, prompt service, and the vibrant outdoor ambiance makes Pedro's a must-visit. While I only had the chance to try the Fajita, the rave reviews about other dishes like enchiladas, verdes, and tacos hint at many choices waiting to be explored. What made the experience even sweeter was the reasonable cost of the meal, offering great value for the quality served. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican feast paired with a lively Brooklyn vibe, Pedro's should be on your list.

Pedro’s is the best Mexican spot in Dumbo! A pitcher of frozen margs split between 3 friends is perfect for a night out on the town. Good thing about service is they come around every now and then if you’re into that, try not to disturb your conversation. Prices are cheap for the area, (margaritas pitcher is the way to go!) food is good and it’s a cute spot not to far from Brooklyn bridge and the piers!
