Art House Restaurant

Omg the food is spectacular. Every time we eat here I'm blown away by the flavors. The seafood. The steak. The presentation. Flawless. I dont do rave reviews but 3 times in a row!! Every course, every time. Faves oyster shooters(rouge), mushroom bisque cappuccino, braised short ribs, and seafood peutaeou(I probably didn't spell that right). Steamed milk with the coffee americano was a nice touch.

Was invited to a small birthday celebration to Art House Restaurant a couple of days ago. Never been there before and I feel cheated for not knowing about this place earlier.It is a very cozy place with pleasant atmosphere. But the food was AMAZING! the waiter recommended a few dishes which we all shared and everybody was enjoying each and every one of them. we tried duck with pears (YUM), Foie Gras, and some others. Presentation is truly artful and I had not seen anything like that at any restaurant in this affordable price category. Go try this place!

I've come here on multiple occasions after being invited to a birthday party a few years ago. Recently renovated with awesome decor. Food is absolutely impeccable - feels like I'm eating in a French restaurant way north of Prospect Park. Presentation is superb - chef even came out to explain a bit about the food and why he made it the way he did. Music and atmosphere is lively, staff is courteous and prompt.

The service has been impeccable every time I've been there. Highly recommend the oyster shots and Seafood“POTAUFEU”. Not sure about the music because I generally come here on off nights for a great meal. The dance floor is pretty small so if your goal is to party and dance this might be a bit of a disappointment.

Atmosphere is really cool - beautiful & cozy. I just took a dessert - tiramisu with cappuccino. Tiramisu is very good quality & very tasty, but its too sweet. Service was great. But smell was awful - like something going wrong with restroom. In this case, I can't give 5 stars. Sorry guys. 😉 I would recommend this place for romantic dinner & friend meetings.

This place surprised me by how awesome the food was presented - it is truly an ART house! Moreover, the food tasted delicious as well. We liked all the food we ordered and the portions were of perfect size- not too big and not too small. It’s a BYOB place with no cork charge but you do have to pay for water (or I guess bring your own if you don’t want to pay). One minor complaint is that it smelled like bathroom but after a while we stopped noticing it, especially after they burnt some food - strictly for presentation. Also, they automatically add 10% tip to the bill, just something to be mindful of. Overall, great experience. I will definitely go back.
