Best kosher bakery in Brooklyn! Freshest challah in town, and don't forget to check out their rugelach - soft and flavorful! Another one of my guilty pleasures is their oatmeal cream cookies... Oh and don't get me started on their Chanukah donuts, idk what they do but nobody else's comes even close.

There are several Schreibers in Brooklyn but this is the best one. First of all let’s not lose sight of the fact that this is a Jewish bakery; a rapidly dying breed. And a GOOD Jewish bakery; practically an extinct breed. Challah available Thursday and Friday (before sunset) only. And delicious, mouth watering Challah it is. Pastries and cookies are available always. Milk. Coffee. Tea. Black & White cookies. Everything is scrumptious. I mention this is their best location because I find the people working here to be much friendlier than in the other two locations I have shopped in. Prices are pretty high, but you get what you pay for. Believe me, you will not be disappointed.

Do not enter this store hungry. It smells wonderful. The breads and pastries look fantastic. You WILL buy more than you expected to and the chances of you eating it as you leave the store are high. Expect a line in the morning on Friday or before a Jewish holiday, but the line moves very fast.

The challah is wonderful. It's perfect. With Purim on the way, I had to get Hamentaschen. The bakery is a hamentaschen heaven. Ran home and tasted them all. I can't and won't pick a fave. You'll have to trust me and buy the halvah, apricot, raspberry and prune to judge for yourself. You'll thank me...and of course, Schriber's.

Fresh and tasty bakery. My favorite time to come for the donuts chanukah season u can eat 10 in one sitting. I also like that they have white chocolate lace cookies.

you will taste donuts that you have never tasted before.
crunchy on the outside soft on the inside the fillings are absolutely amazing.
I would have had at least 3 of them but I didn't want to put on that much weight.
just continue making these pastries you guys deserve every bit of customers that you can get into your shop.
