Absolutely loved it. I had a salad and the manti, and enjoyed both. The salad was both fresh and well seasoned and the manti were well made and tasted quite well. There's a wide variety of options including plenty of soups, salads, hot and cold mains, and desserts. Definitely a good selection to explore again and again with each visit. Service was also really good. I strongly recommend this place to anyone.

KYRGYZSTAN 🇰🇬 KAZAKHSTAN 🇰🇿 Dispatch from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn: The countries and flags above really only represent geography, for the Dungan people and their cuisine is actually stateless, and has been for centuries. Originally from the western regions of China, these people took their culture and food to Central Asia in the 1800's, shaping what we would come to know as Central Asian cuisine. This restaurant, the first Dungan kitchen in the entire country according to our server, is a way to get to know a new people and a long history that has struggled to survive through many persecutions. And with this rich history, get ready to enjoy some extremely good food.

It’s been a cold and snowy winter, what else could be better than a bowl of hot noodle soup. Luckily I found myself on Sheepshead Bay and found this interesting restaurant called Lagman House. The menu looked completely unfamiliar to me but the dishes reminded me of Russian Chinese food. I went into unknown territory and got rewarded with one of the best noodle soups of my life. First time having Dungan food but it certainly won’t be my last. Restaurants like this are what makes NYC one of the best foodie cities in the world.

In the pictures you'll see Lamian on the right and Dapan Ji on the left. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!! PS their green tea ice cream is amazing! im suddenly a big fan.

This is my first time eating Dungan food and I HIGHLY recommend it. Research their history when you get a chance as it's very interesting! I ordered the Thon Lamian and it was soooo delicious! The soup has beef but the broth and the flavors of the vegetables really shine. It doesnt taste like a typical soup that is drowning in MSG. It tastes homemade, light and really will invoke memories of your favorite, homemade Grandma soup. The chewy noodles are the perfect texture and one of the main favorites and rightfully so. Definitely visit Lagman's when your're in the neighborhood. This spot is a real gem!

We order the dapan ji noodle. The handmade noodle was so soft and good. Samsa is a must, made with lamb and onions. The manti can also be ordered fried. Jin momo is filling. Good ambience and friendly servers.
