I recently had the chicken biryani at Joy Indian along Flatbush Ave, and it was absolutely delicious! I went back recently to this place after not going here for over 10yrs and the food is still as awesome and delicious as it was over 10yrs ago. Definitely do yourself the favor and check them out if you're in the neighborhood, you will not be disappointed.

We used Joy Indian Restaurant for our catering and our guests LOVED the food. We had a Bengali wedding and they catered to my mom's specifically Bengali items. Abu, the owner, was extremely professional and accommodating to all our changes. He checked in with our venue and truly created an incredible catering experience for our guests. Eating here was truly a joy. We had the tangy gobi, mattar paneer, and malai kofta - each was mouthwatering and the perfect level of flavor and spice. The food was prepared quickly and our server Prema was wonderful. Overall amazing food, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere - a true hidden gem that everyone must try.

This place literally made my day! The food was perfection! Super flavorful with the perfect kick of spice and the stuffed naan is seriously the best bread I’ve ever had. Not only is the food great, but also the prices are so good especially for the quality and size and the workers are angels. This will be my new go to Indian spot :)

Joy is the best Indian restaurant in Brooklyn by far, maybe even all of New York! They consistently deliver great flavors; especially recommend the chicken or paneer tikka masala. The employees are really great, too. You don’t want to miss it!
