The Vanderbilt was elegant, but cool and comfortable at the same time. The service is friendly and the food was great. The only reason they lost a star is because my steak was over-cooked.

Bought a Pulsd deal for brunch. $29 for two. Not bad at all. The choices are limited. More off the pre-fixe menu. But overall food was delicious. The Dew Drop drink was amazing!

Visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and was wowed by the experience. The food was set and placed like art, the waitress was attentive without it feeling like she was bothering us and the owner (very down to earth guy) was there giving us appetizers to try out on the house! I'm big on customer service and making it memorable goes a long way for me.
Also the place looks great with fantastic lighting, there is a bar in the front as you enter where you are greeted by the hostess, next up you have a row of high chairs/tables where you can sit and eat followed by the main seating in the back (if you're an introvert :) with regular tables. I will be back here this weekend. Good job guys!

Had a decent brunch here. The bloody marys are adequate and not over thought like so many places in NYC. Seriously why do i need bits of crab or hunks of avacado in my mary? Can i please have a cocktail amd not alcoholic soup? Service was friendly and accommodating!

I came here for brunch for a friend's birthday, and it was nothing short of amazing. All of the food was delicious, seasoned to perfection. The Bellini tasted great--and I'm not much of a drinker. The service was impeccable. I will definitely come again!

Absolutely outstanding food. Good drinks. Friendly service. Recommend the brussel sprouts - they are carnal and bursting with deep flavor. The pork belly and grits its worth every calorie filled bite. The smoked salad is delicious and innovative. There has never been a disappointing experience. Great beer and cocktail choices. I would live there if I could.

I went there for a drink and an appetizer. The appetizers were good, and the menu was quite interesting. I liked the atmosphere: the lighting was soft, the decoration was a mix of industrial and americana, and they had an open kitchen with a bar clients can sit at and watch the cooks do their thing. I'd definitely go back (and write a more detailed review).

The service was very attentive, but in no way overbearing. The food was delicious and I really appreciate that they change the menu seasonally. They have a great cocktail list, and the vibe is super relaxed. It's a great place to hang out whether you're just stopping by for a few drinks or looking for a genuinely well-crafted meal.

I have been there several times. Overall, the food is very good. I agree with those who single out the Brussels sprouts. Also enjoy the sausages and the sausage flight. The drinks are good but I once had a gin martini that was sweet and had to send it back. Very odd and awful, actually, but it was replaced. Service can be hit or miss and frequently rushed even when nearly empty.

Homemade Beef Jerky and Fried Pickles appetizers got me in the door and they did not disappoint. The tenderness, price and portion was right for the jerky, though there could have been a few more slices of pickles, thought they were hot, fresh and sweet. Had the Pork Meatballs entree and I'm glad I did, they were juicy and flavorful. I would definitely get everything I had again and I will be back. They like to refill your water glass

Always good - great, friendly service. Love to sit at the kitchen bar and watch prep. Killer sausage. Amazing cheese plate. One of the best appetizers in the world - house made potato chips with roe! Brunch is unique and great as well! Go to place with friends hanging out in Prospect Heights.
