We came to this wonderful place on the friend's recommendation. Here we found a completely authentic Georgian food, warm hospitality along with other patrons , many speaking Georgian language - good sign of a really authentic place. Most astonishing was Georgian salad with nutty toppings, we surely be back just for that experience

A beautiful dinning experience, well priced with massive portions great for sharing. It was my first time having Georgian food and it was delicious. The pork sausage was my favorite with the plum sauce as well as the tomato sauce. Everything was different and extremely savory. Our group had lamb soup, borscht, garlic chicken, fried and steamed soup dumpling, potatoes with mushroom, the cheese bread with extra cheese, and some complimentary sodas pear and green herbal and bread. I really enjoyed their bread. The borscht is heavy on the dill which I enjoy but a fair warning to those that don’t and the garlic chicken is on the saltier side. The lamb soup is so clean tasting and delicious as well as the fillings in the dumplings. The green soda taste like absinthe or an herbal liquor without the alcohol it was a good different. The server was quick and made excellent suggestions. The establishment is elegantly decorated, quaint and clean. If I am ever around this area of Brooklyn I will definitely be revisiting and I highly recommend this place to anyone curious.

Excellent Georgian cuisine, knowledgeable and friendly staff of expatriates, colorful clientele of drinkers ever so happy to engage in a conversation about the state of politics in the post-Soviet world. And let me emphasize, the food and the wines very much on point.

The food was absolutely delicious, and I must say, Georgian cuisine is truly the best in the world. It was the perfect place to explore the rich flavors and unique dishes of Georgian cuisine. I highly recommend trying their khachapuri, khinkali and lamb kebab - they were all exceptional! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be visiting again to indulge in more of their mouthwatering dishes. If you're looking for an authentic and delightful Georgian culinary journey, Mtskheta Cafe is the place to be!

For many years this place has been delivering consistently great service and food. They have homemade sausages, salads are awesome, taste like nowhere else, khinkalies are very good. The compote they serve is from the bottle, but very tasty, especially kizil(cornelian cherry) 🍒. Napoleon cake is different from what you imagine it should be, but the portion is big and it tastes amazing

Food was good but service can be a bit more tentative. Overall experience was good. We ordered the double cheese khachapuri and it was super good and cheesy. The chicken and pork kababs we good too. We got both the steam and fried dumplings and we like the fried ones more, fyi they are huge in size. The best thing was the mushrooms and fries. This was one tasty dish and got us by surprise. And we got to try a green soda/leamonade (tarragon) and it was pretty. It's worth a try if yiure in the area.

We were in the neighborhood with hunger, so we just checked any restaurant with good reviews and Mtskheta Cafe popped up. Another reason why we chose it was because we never had Georgian food before and were curious about how the dishes taste like. The options on the menu are decent but in Kartvelian languages, so we had difficulties making up our decisions. The staff was friendly and suggested a couple of dishes to us. We got their Khachapuri, Chakapuli and Chicken with Garlic Sauce. The food was not really our type except the cheesy & satisfying Khachapuri and I believe it’s authentic.

First time having Georgian food and it was really good! We ordered a few dishes. We got the khinkali (meat soupy dumplings), khachapuri (a sort of flatbread with Georgian cheese), eggplant with walnuts, and the Neapolitan for dessert. My favorite was the eggplant and walnuts dish. It's served cold and has a nice pomegranate filling. The khachapuri was alright if you really love grilled cheese type foods. The dough was really good. It would have been good to have something to dip in. The khinkali I was looking forward to since I heard good things about it. The meat was alright, but there was a lot of meat so that was appreciated. The soup was a little too salty for my taste. The Neapolitan was pretty decent. The cream in the middle was just the right amount of sweetness. The waitress was really nice and the vibe was very chill.
