The Hive was such a cute gastropub located right by the water in Williamsburg! The cocktails were well made, strong, and matched their descriptions perfectly. The food was well beyond my expectations, making me feel like I was in a fancier restaurant. The taste of each dish was spot on and the Ricotta app was definitely my favorite! Also had the Crab toast which I loved as well. Had the salmon entree and the burger for dinner! Overall food was amazing and high quality for not a steep price and I could order a million cocktails there! Loved it and will definitely go back!

Came here the other night and had a really great time! The drinks were so tasty (particularly loved the Bee’s Knees) and food was great. For appetizers we had the house made ricotta & Mac & cheese. Both were delicious, but the house made ricotta was so light and incredible. We also got a side of fries with Black Truffle Carpaccio sauce and i am still dreaming of that sauce. Overall, The Hive has a great atmosphere, awesome food & drinks, and it’s got a great view of the city. Will definitely be coming back!

Attended The Hive about around last week with my boyfriend and we totally loved it! We were seated in a booth and to start, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and nice bar area. My personal favorites from the food were the House-Made Honey Ricotta and Bucatini Pasta. I don't eat much meat, but he really enjoyed The Hive Burger (which smelled delicious) and the aioli that comes with the Calamari was so good! The drinks were strong, which I personally like, some people may not like prominent flavors all in one cocktail. Overall, great date night spot and looking forward to going back!

Got reservations on a Sunday morning for brunch! It’s a cute brunch spot that has a really cool atmosphere and interior with bees everywhere as decor haha they have a nice bar with bar seating as well. The pancakes were really delicious and they offer some good brunch drinks including mimosas and Bloody Marys. The service was pretty fast to take our orders and bring the food out.

So amazing, ate here twice in a weekend! American home cooked fare transformed into gourmet cuisine. The cocktails are top notch, and the Mac n cheese and fries are the best I've had. Highly recommended as a meeting place for friends or business. Join the Hive Vibes!

I went here for dinner, and was generally impressed. I would recommend it, and will certainly be back for brunch. The cocktails were creative, tasty, of good strength, and reasonably priced. The food tasted good, but I might suggest a few tweaks. The deviled eggs are tasty, but the serving size of three halves is simply too small. I might suggest a a larger seving size for the mac and cheese. The fries for the table were of good size. For the entree sandwiches and burgers, I think a small side salad would not cost the restaurant much, would help fill customers, and would help garnish the mains nicely. Just friendly suggestions!

Nice atmosphere, warm and friendly. Attentive service with a decent brunch menu. I had the eggs benedict with lump crab cakes and you must try the fries with various dipping sauces! Their burgers looked delicious too!

I don't always travel for more than half an hour for a weekend brunch, but when I do, I try to make sure that it is worthwhile, and The Hive definitely did not disappoint. I have been looking forward to visiting this establishment since hearing about it last year, so I'm very glad I came here this weekend. My friend and I had a few drinks -- Bee's Knees, Wire Comb Escape, and The Smith Method -- all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. It is very important to me that cocktails are not overly sweet or drenched in syrup. The Wire Comb Escape had a nice fruity flavor and the Smith Method was akin to an old fashioned. We each ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a side of French fries with black truffle carpaccio and honey bacon gravy dips to share. Unfortunately, I cannot share pictures of our food in the Yelposphere because everything looked so appetizing that we dug right in and devoured everything. Simply put, the food was delicious. The fried chicken sandwich had the perfect balance between the crunch of fried chicken and the savory tartness of coleslaw. Nestle that in between a freshly toasted sesame bun (as a bread connoisseur, I am very particular about my bread, mind you), and you are in heaven. Oh, and the fries...! They had the nice crispy outside of a perfectly fried fry and the soft mashed potato texture and taste of potatoes that can only come with fresh, high-quality fries. I have not been able to enjoy fries after returning from France in 2016, and this lived up to my expectations. Because my friend and I love to eat, we also ordered dessert. We shared an order of s'mores and were gifted with a slice of brownies! I love anything with chocolate or marshmallows, so I was very happy to see this on the menu. The atmosphere is very versatile. Great for a casual brunch with an old friend or a first-time dinner date (...and if your date doesn't like the food, then there's no date number two. Just kidding!) Playlist was very relaxing and fun. I wish I could have remembered to ask if their playlist was available on Spotify. Service was comfortable - attentive, but not to the point that you feel like somebody is breathing down your neck. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Hive. I look forward to returning.
