Food was great, service could be better.
We had fried snapper. Two orders of fried boneless chicken, which was amazing. Yellow rice and red beans, white rice and red beans, and tostones. We also had chicken empanadas fresh from the oil!! Delicious!!!
Updated review on 12/20/23: I visited my favorite restaurant on Sunday, 12/17/23 to grab some food to take home. Imagine my surprise when I saw these disgusting feathers protruding from my boneless chicken chunks. I didn’t want to finish eating them after seeing that. I’ve never written a bad review about El Rey since I’ve been coming here for over 15 years now. This is totally unacceptable and I wasted my money.
The best food on this side of Brooklyn and probably one of the top Spanish restaurants in Brooklyn. Food is always delicious!
Went there to celebrate my mom's birthday. Food was absolutely delicious and the Sangria was amazing and refreshing. Service was great as well. It was my second time there after several years. I look forward to going back!
Great Food ! Music playing while u eat or drink they have a bar area & they got tv on walls . The place is clean with friendly and polite staffs .indoor and outdoor dining. This is a must go again spot for your drinks and or food.
I placed two orders 1st was porkchops and arroz con gandules and since I don't eat pork, an order of chicharun de pollos with bone was suggested, it's like chicken crackling. Well that was the next best thing to a porkchops, I really enjoyed it.

Been coming here for a long time ⌛️, actually my whole family comes here. We celebrate 🍾 my moms birthday here, pedro the Manger very attempted and so are waitresses. Give it a try and when you do, mensione Orlando recommended it.
Excellent variety of Spanish food Drinks are great. Parking gets a little hard recommended nite dining. breakfast is good too. Caution ⚠️ if you come accompany cause the servers are 😍🤣🤣

My coworker recommended me to come here..I finally came with some friends. They give you lots of food for your money. The grilled chicken and steak are fantastic. Parking is limited lol but I def would recommend this spot to people!
