The sautéed shrimp and eggs was delicious as well as the chicken with Chinese broccoli. When I showed a pic, The lady who took my order was helpful when I didn’t know the name of the vegetable. Overall good job! I’ll be going there again.

Came here for their lunch service and left impressed with the duck and fish casserole. The staff here were so nice to my baby who I brought along with me. I'll be back here next time I'm in Brooklyn Chinatown.

It’s been a while since we were here and a lot has changed. They closed down their huge basement dining area and the food could use a pick me up. Service is great thou. We had a good time since we pretty much the only customer booked for the whole dining room for a birthday. They are very accommodating and service is good enough. Food is good but I remember they used to be better. Sizzling beef should be sizzling but it barely any smoke. Rest of the food is up par but just not really good. The positive part is the fact the place is quieter and spacious than rest of the other places. We get to have a quiet and decent family dinner.

1. Good attentive service. 2. Good lunch prices 3. Most importantly GOOD food. I recommend their roast pig and roast duck. Peking pork chops or salt and pepper pork chops are very good dishes.

Overall 5 stars. Only thing and this is actually a good thing. There was only 1 customer finishing their meal as we were seated . I've found this could indicate a really good thing (few if any tourists go to this joint) or a not-so-good thing (poor food and/or service) my 3 stars for ambience; i just would have loved to see more people here (locals) pictures are of my entré (bone inpork rib tips w/rice) my friend ordered the roasted pork over rice. We also shared a bowl of wonton soup.

Definitely above average, price is beyond reasonable, one of the best bbq pork belly dish I’ve had. Friendly staff there too.

During my visit here during the evening, day before Father's day tuned out to be very nice. Not as extravagant as the other Chinese palaces in the area, but that can be a good thing for some. If you like to have a quiet meal with a few friends or family members, this is a good place to visit. As for the food, the beef chow fun and beef fried rice was very good. The service was great. Just keep in mind they close early, as in 7pm-ish so call to confirm. Sw

While this spot may not look like much from the outside it’s a solid choice for great food. We decided to explore the Sunset Park area, and while browsing reviews, menus and windows, we settled on Lucky eight. To be 100% honest there were at least three groups of women that went in before us, and to me that was an indication that the food must be good as they might traditionally be the ones preparing food in their homes, and if they want to eat here, so do I . The dining room is simple with a tank of lobsters and fish when you walk in, not all looking that spry but who would. We ordered slightly blindly off the lunch special menu, which was a great value. The egg drop soup was delicious and all of the other portions were quite large. Sweet-and-sour chicken scored, high marks, and there was some “boiled chicken” that came with a delicious ginger garlic sauce on the side that I can highly recommend. We always order snow pea leaves as they are often super fresh and delicious and that is exactly what we received here at Lucky eight. Another great choice if you want to get your greens in. I had wanted to order roasted pork ribs, but ended up with sweet-and-sour pork, which was good, but was heavy on the pineapple, I should be expected, my bad. The tea was on the table instantly and dark and delicious. The service was jovial and fun and efficient. If you were in the area and looking for a quick and easy lunch this is a great option.

Since I started wieking very close to the China town, I opened for myself so many types of different styles of Chinese food . This restaurant is one of my favorites. I like their food, especially roast duck and roast pork. You don't find this kind of food in the local restaurants. Their service is very fast, it's important, especially during your lunch break

If you are looking for a place to enjoy authentic and delicious Cantonese cuisine, look no further than LUCKY 8. I LOVE LUCKY 8 and I have been a loyal customer for years. They have the best BBQ in town, with succulent roast duck, crispy pork belly, and tender char siu. The lunch specials are unbeatable, with a huge variety of dishes to choose from. You can have noodles, rice, soup, dim sum, seafood, and more. The portions are generous and the prices are beyond reasonable. You have to get there before 4pm to take advantage of these amazing deals. Trust me, you won't regret it. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and they make you feel like family. LUCKY 8 is my favorite Cantonese restaurant and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food and good service.
